Looks good, BIL went through the USAFA with Sully, said he was always a serious student.

I’m sorry but I’m not wasting a dime on it as it was on TV endlessly for a month or so. What could the film possibly add?

I like Sully as much as the next guy but is there really enough for a whole movie?
Beats remakes I guess.

WOW! I watched the trailer and they actually show the co-pilot. I didn’t think Sully had one by the way he talks.
To: RetiredTexasVet
What could the film possibly add? The fact that the NTSA tried to smear him by saying he could have made it back to the airport

Sixty seven years doing play-by-play for the Dodgers -- even when they were still back in Brooklyn and YOU DON'T THINK THERE'S ENOUGH FOR A LOUSY 103 MINUTE FEAUTRE!!??
What?

Jesus H. Jones, it’s Tom Hanks playing Sully!
This explains a lot.

Never knew that. He made the right call. It could have ended with a fully fueled jet smacking into NYC... all the passengers gone and more on the ground.

I like Sully as much as the next guy but is there really enough for a whole movie?I agree. Yes, he did an outstanding job, kept his cool, and avoided a catastrophe. However, the entire episode, from takeoff to the remarkable landing in the river, was only a few minutes in duration. It's tough to see how they can stretch that into a feature length movie.
To: GreenHornet
Watch the trailer, they pull it off.

It's tough to see how they can stretch that into a feature length movie. It appears from the trailer that the NTSB attempted to smear him by saying he could have made it back to the airport and he was therefore negligent.

Tom Hanks? Really?
Does anybody really want to see more of him?
Isn't it time for him to do a Harrison Ford and pass on the torch to somebody younger?
Come to think if it -- isn't it time for Liam Neeson to pass on Harrison Ford's torch?
