The Marine Corps is eliminating the job title “basic infantryman” along with 18 others and replacing them with terms that are gender neutral.
Others titles, including “rifleman” and “mortarman,” will remain the same, due to their historical and cultural significance for Marines.
The service plans to replace 19 of its military occupational specialty titles, the Marine Corps Times reported Tuesday, seven months after Navy Secretary Ray Mabus ordered the Marine Corps to conduct a review of all job titles to ensure gender neutrality.
For most of the 19 terms that will be changed, the word “Marine” will replace the word “man.” Basic infantryman, for instance, will become Basic infantry Marine, and “reconnaissance man” will become “reconnaissance marine,” according to a list of the 33 titles reviewed that was obtained by the Marine Corps Times.

there is not a woman on this planet... not a single one, i don’t care if she’s MMA trained or any of that other BS... who can win a 1-on-1 battle in hand to hand combat with an average military-trained man in his early 20’s, which is what you’d expect to find in combat. she doesn’t have the muscle mass, strength, leverage, or endurance to win.
all of the BS you see on “Vikings” about shield maidens and all of that other feminist propaganda coming out of Hollyweird showing waif-like 120lb super models karate chopping their way through a half dozen men without her even breaking a nail... is all FICTION!
too many women believe this to be true (don’t believe me? ask a millennial woman what percentage of men she thinks she could take in a fight. don’t be surprised at answers like 70% or 80%), but it’s not. these young women are delusional. they’ve been lied to their whole lives to boost their self-esteem. there are real differences between the sexes that cannot be dismissed away by the stroke of pen of a democRAT lawmaker.
if women want to serve, there are plenty of non-combat roles. it’s insanity to put them into 1-on-1 combat though. it’s insanity to change the military to pander these special snowflakes.
Let’s hope they can be replaced with a future sane, law-abiding administration.

In actual combat, it will not work out that way. The women will be fighting bigger ans stronger men than they are who are fully intent on killing them. Which is what will happen in 999.000 out of a million times.
These days, that woman may very well be the liberal piece of drek. I know many vets, most of them are conservative, but many, far too many of them (younger ones), are very liberal.
Of course democrats hate “INFANTryMEN”:
Democrats believe INFANTs deserve to die, so that’s no title for someone going into combat.
Democrats don’t like the word “MEN”, since none of them are actually men, even the ones who have marginally functional X and Y chromosomes.
We need a new title for our Marines, something that doesn’t send democrats scampering to their safe space. How about “Climate Activists”?

Men are also much larger than women, which is a huge difference.
There is a reason why men in the lightweight boxing division do not box heavy weights.
In wrestling, the weight classes break down by 10 lb increments and even that 10 lbs difference is significant in a match.
A very good example is the Vietnam war.
The North Vietnam regulars were extremely strong, tough and well trained, but they were the size and weight more inline with that of a typical American woman.
Larger American troops were at a huge advantage especially in hand to hand combat.
