I was in Hawaii years ago and had the occasion to ride on their “interstate” highway. I then knew that the whole place was an idyllic scam for liberals.

There are very few “native Hawaiians left. Hawaii has become the melting pot of the Pacific. Someone will own it. It is not defensable by itself.
There is no reason it should not be part of the United States. Hawaii gets a better deal as part of the United States than it would with any other country.

I agree that there’s no legal way to expel a state from the union.
I think a lot of Hawaiians (most of whom stutter when pronouncing the name of their own state) want to be independent of the US also.
And that would be FINE WITH ME. They can take back the all-Democrat bunch they send to DC and shove it.
If we want to expel places which hold contempt for what this country stands for, we could all think of many such places in America.
