They need to lie about the polls so when they cheat theyll be covered like they did for Obama. Not in Maine, not this time!

LOL right! what a bunch of horse hockey!

The article implies it’s because Trump hasn’t raised any campaign funds at the time of the poll. That doesn’t make any sense to me, that someone would switch a vote based on that.

It’s a Reuters poll. Brexit proved they know nothing about polling. I *might* be concerned if other polls start showing the same results.

Neither of the candidates is actually wildly popular this time around so maybe hiding as you say she seems to be doing helps.

Yeah - 1200 "likely voters" over the phone and no record of sampling or even questions. Not only that, but it ran from 21-24 June which means folks weren't aware of Brexit results or Trump's comments (not to mention Obama and Hillary comments).

So, what accounts for HRCs supposed growing popularity? Hillary and her advisors learned the important lesson from her previous run for the presidency.
She is most likable when the people know the least about her.
When the public is not exposed to the real Hillary they can imagine the most likable and desirable Hillary possible.
When Hillary has no press conferences or public speeches her poll numbers climb. When she has press conferences and makes public appearances her polls fall.
Any chance of Hillary winning depends on her exposing herself as little as possible to public view; a precarious balance of not too much exposure to reveal the woman behind the curtain but enough to maintain the appearance of her actually running for office.

Have seen this floating around the internet since this came out, anyone’s thoughts?
“Since January 1, Hillary has led in 93% of all head-to-head polls over Trump. The only candidate in modern times who was polling lower than Trump is now was Jerry Ford in 1976 and he was at 29. Even Walter Mondale was at 35%.”
