MENTOR, Ohio — A man dressed as a woman groped a teenage girl at the Mentor Public Library.
Police are still looking for the man involved in the May 29 incident, Mentor police Lt. Dan Molnar said Friday.
The girl was not physically harmed.
Surveillance cameras captured the man entering the library in the 8200 block of Mentor Avenue at 11:30 a.m. dressed in a black dress, wig and high heels.
The man struck up a conversation with the 14-year-old girl, police said.
The two joked about the man's attire before he touched the teen inappropriately, according to police reports.

That was her first mistake; engaging an unusually attired ‘man’ in conversation. Sometimes you go back to the old ‘don’t talk to strangers’. motto. Girls, especially pretty girls have to be even more careful being too friendly to people you have no connection with. You see a man dressed that way, you might presume that he’s looking for attention, and a lot it. Too bad it’s still that way, but it is.

Yesterday, I saw my first trans bathroom. The way the restaurant got around it was having: Men, Women, Men/Women bathrooms. Apparently, they took the handicapped bathroom and gave it to transgenders. So there’s another group left out in the cold. Interestingly, while this was in Manhattan, everyone was laughing and mocking the sign.
