Sometimes after a few drinks, I like to chuck bombs out of my flying saucer at beings I consider inferior, such as the British.

sparklite2 Beat me by 12 seconds.
BTW I was at a firepower demonstration around 1962 at Eglin AFB.
They demonstrated a sonic boom with an F-104. I came across the sky totally quiet and seemingly not that fast. Then it hit!
I suspect something went wrong as the noise was well above what was necessary to do hearing damage and the shock to the body was real and uncomfortable.
I would bet money that people suffered from it, maybe later in life.

LOADS of garlic, I presume.
I asked my husband BEFORE we married if he liked "onion breath." He said YES.
I also asked him if he liked "garlic breath" and he said NO. We were a perfect fit. :o)

The strongest sonic boom ever recorded was 7,000 Pa (144 psf) and it did not cause injury to the researchers who were exposed to it. The boom was produced by an F-4 flying just above the speed of sound at an altitude of 100 feet (30 m).
Not saying it wasn't uncomfortable. Just sayin, probably no permanent damage.
