Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m not part of any gang who shouts people down or tries to get them banned. Whatever you’re talking about from Bush’s administration ... I wasn’t any part of it. You can go back in my posting history and see for yourself.
I have never called anyone racist. I argue on the merits.
And thanks for pinging Laz and Travis. They both know me and can attest that I’m not a troll.
I have to say, this is a first. I’ve been to both Freeper galas, the CSPAN event in Fresno, and a few others that have receded into the mists.
No one has ever accused me of trolling... because it’s not true.
“I have never called anyone racist. I argue on the merits.”
and purely by coincidence those merits track point for point with the media and GOPe party line that Trump was being racist. You can try to pass that off as “merit” all you want- you may even believe that in your little PC head.
“Im not part of any gang who shouts people down or tries to get them banned.”
but by another amazing coincidence your thread wingman is. Just one of those chance things, sorta like Hillary Clinton experiences. Just happens to some people who are entirely innocent.
How’s your buddy howlin?
Yes memories are quite long
AuntB remembers everything I guarantee it as does the individual who reminded me
I can suggest a couple of anti FReeper sites they can go where sink and Dane still post and complain about us
Thanks for the Info. Any Vet in 81 was far from any war.
>>and purely by coincidence those merits track point for point with the media and GOPe party line that Trump was being racist. You can try to pass that off as merit all you want- you may even believe that in your little PC head.<<
Step off, pelham. I despise the media and the GOPe. I work from the Constitution.
Im not part of any gang who shouts people down or tries to get them banned.
>>but by another amazing coincidence your thread wingman is. Just one of those chance things, sorta like Hillary Clinton experiences. Just happens to some people who are entirely innocent.<<
And ya know, it’s actually a coincidence. I comment on the threads that I want to comment on. I don’t follow posters around.
Cruz is an idiot as are a number of current Reps who need replacement.
Have you found any evidence that I was part of whatever banning effort you were talking about? You won’t find it.
Also, if you read my posts carefully, I did not call Trump racist. I basically said that it would be better for public perception - which I assume he needs - to focus on Curiel’s LaRaza ties rather than simply “Mexican heritage.”
That is one of the points that Trump is making. You can't mention "La Raza" without also mentioning its association with "Mexican."
To argue that because an Amercan citizen's parents originated in another country (Czech Republic, Italy, Mexico, etc. for example) he cannot exercise civil rights as an American citizen is a losing argument.
I made no such argument. And neither did Trump. You're missing crucial CONTEXT.
As for religion, that is also a protected right of American citizens.
Not if that "religion" (or Death Cult) threatens others or acts violently while depriving others Americans of their Civil Rights.
Would you favor an amendment to rescind that right, or only apply it to certain religions ?
Why would we need any amendment that preserves our national sovereignty, heritage, and reinforces our constitutional right to limit any or all immigration as a matter of national security or prerogative?
Why do you seem to endorse the continued 250k Mooselimb "refugee" plague pouring into our nation? As well as endorsing a further Mexican/Central American flood of immigration?
No, your liberal inebriation and mantra of "equality," "tolerance" and "diversity" is NOT beneficial to the USA in any way.
bootless is not a troll bro.
That depends on who is doing the defining. You mean as interpreted by the leftist-progressive anti-Western, anti-Judeo-Christian contingent? Or as interpreted by the US Constitution?
There IS no "civil right" for those who support or deprive conservative American citizens ANY of their Constitutional Rights.
Furthermore, I dispute the liberal "living-breathing" definition of Constitutional "citizenship" that's been used and shoved down our throats to help destroy our national and personal sovereignty.
Thanks, Laz, I really appreciate it. Hope you’re doing well.
10-4.
Here's the good news: Ted Cruz (whom I'd initially supported) has been exposed as a fraud. He and others as you suggest desperately require replacement, but incumbents in the Senate are rarely beaten.
The bad news: It appear Ryan will be re-elected in a landslide.
In the case of judge Curiel, passing judgment on his affiliation with the radical org La Raza ("The Race") is very fair game, and falls under the 'behavior' category. Trump did in fact mention La Raza in his criticism, but he should've hammered him with it repeatedly and made it the main focus.
Race doesn't apply in his case. Trump didn't mention it. You wouldn't know it by MSM accounts, though. Progs would have us all believe that Mexican is a race. And Islam as well.
Good post.
>> Trump did in fact mention La Raza in his criticism, but he should’ve hammered him with it repeatedly and made it the main focus. <<
Exactly. Way too few people even know about La Raza, much less what it is and what they demand.
Agreed.
Thanks :)
Ok, I’ll take your word for it. I tend to have a strong suspicion of those who pal around with people who like to toss around Aryan Nations accusations.
