Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

“I don’t know. I’ve been asking the same questions, and getting flamed because I questioned Trump’s choice to lead with the judge’s Mexican heritage.
I posted earlier that Trump should have let his lawyers file a motion for recusal with all the things you have mentioned, and simply announce the motion and let it speak for itself.”
In my dreams- Trump is setting up the media and other detractors to spring a motion to recuse on them with all the actually relevant info on Curiel, smashing them when the judge is forced to withdraw. But I’m pretty sure that’s only a dream. I think Trump just reacted when the Trump U documents were unsealed and now he’s stuck on the “Mexican” judge argument to prove himself right. It may help him in the end though. It highlights illegal immigration, and I think most independents are with us on that issue.

A good point. Hopefully you’ll participate.
“STFU Rafe”
:)
The little creepweasel still has something slimy up his sleeve, I’d bet.
Really? Zotted for that remark?
Everyday we all work with people of all stripes and largely we get along, most do a good job some of us even enjoy work from time to time.
This net of disinformation being cast against humanity simulating false connections while partitioning, trapping ultimately enslaving.
Sorry for that happy thought - need to edit the wine notes... all that to say Ted is such a loser.
Enjoy reading your posts I thought yours was as good as any to respond and use a stepping stone for spouting
Well now that he is out he can probably take the reigns leading the anti-America riots at Trump rallies - he probably missed out on Chicago and New Mexico and wherever ...
A worm I tell you! But flag does he wave several choices?
While I appreciate the sentiment, that doesn't fly when you're a Presidential candidate.
TRUMP should make a straight and clear statement about that since ennemies and stupid GOPe are trying to spin that in vicious way against him
yep
Stay classy, Ted.
Wish I hadn't now. His reverse speech is horrendous. Mr blood.
Glad he's not on the ticket!
It was stupid of Trump to bring up the man’s ethnicity. Hammer it home that the judge belongs to a racist organization; that’s a deliberate choice the judge made in conducting his life. Keep the personal remarks out of it. When is Trump going to learn this?
Hillary’s evil remark about Trump’s German heritage should be getting a lot more attention, but we know why that’s never going to happen.
If you know that the judge is prejudiced, then say so.
How do we know that?
I dont think that they get what is going on.
the left questions judges all the time. Heck, Odungo even attacked the supreme court in a SOTU address and to this day, the dumocrats attack judges.
Why are so many people getting their panties in a wad? This guy is the very definition of conflict of interest.
And I am one one those who gave you hundreds of $ when you announced.
B@stard!
