Ghostbusters director Paul Feig has fired back at misogynistic critics of his upcoming all-female-led remake, telling a film industry panel over the weekend that he has faced an onslaught of hate mail and negative messages since the project was announced two years ago.

That needs to be the response to being called racist, also.
Okay, but Kristen Wiig IS that funny.
But also sometimes the funnier a trailer is, the worse the movie, because it usually winds up being the only funny parts of the movie.
Nobody can hold a candle to Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman and Jane Curtin.
You have a unique writing style.
I'll watch it . . . on Netflix.
Who cares what this Paul Fag guy thinks. He’s going to choke on his own massive a stink bomb of a movie.
That’s what makes it so funny! The fact it’s not funny!
Exactly! Sigourney Weaver as Ripley totally kicked butt in “Aliens” (as well as “Alien”). I can’t think of a stronger female lead for a movie. The movie was a huge success as a sequel because it was a good movie and well acted.
...this is a great thread...
"THE BED.....IS ON......MY FOOT!"
"Your Momma Eats Kitty Litter!"
I can see where his attitude originates. He was one of the girls in HS and all the girls he hung out with dated those awful Cro-Magnon boys on the football team. No fair! Especially when he was sensitive & understood them so much better.
Hollywood acts like DemonRat politicians the way they use affirmative action in their hiring decisions and then cry racism/sexism/homophobia if you oppose their worthless "reboot" because the script is terrible. The "Fan4astic" remake was garbage even before their ridiculous decision to cast a black guy as Johnny Storm (and make him the "sibling" of the caucasian Sue Storm), but by casting a black guy, they were able to play the race card.
Now they're playing the gender card with the horrible Ghostbusters remake. They're also trying to fool audiences into thinking its set in the same universe as the original ("30 years ago, four heroes saved New York...") by forcing the original cast to make 5 seconds cameos as different characters.
This one will bomb just like the crappy Annie remake (and ironically, Cameron Diaz was the lone white cast member in that movie but her casting was the worst)
The best tactic is just to ignore these movies rather than protest them and let the movie studios play the victim card.
Oh my.
The movie must be a real stinker.
I have, thankfully, only seen a few outtakes of the actresses in the Ghostbusters reboot. They are disgusting, profane, disgusting, profane, disgusting, ugly, and filthy. I will look forward to NOT watching the movie. Knowing the previous work of all involved in this movie I can give the entire plot.
Lonely white women find stupid white man has a haunted house.
Man jokes
Lonely white women meet gay man who introduces them to big black woman to toughen them up.
Menstruation jokes
Black woman chicken necks and white women start talking ghetto English.
Penis jokes
White women rescued by angry big black woman who says “Oh no you didn’t” as she blasts a ghost.
Fart Jokes
Lonely fat white woman gets hunkie new boyfriend she meets through gay man.
PMS jokes
The end.
I remember when I used to look forward to new movies. Not anymore.
I hate Mellisa McCarthy and refuse to watch anything she is in. She is the most abrasively grading crude and obnoxious actress since Roseanne Barr, who I also hated and refused to watch.
That some people like her is a sad commentary on not just the moral decay of current Americans, most especially young Americans, but is also a bitter note about their complete lack of taste in humor, and what is genuinely funny and clever and bitig vs. the banal and rancid tripe that passes for comedy today.
A pox on them.
I hate you for even posting her picture.
