What would you have them say about race?

On Twitter, and other social media, black people (including black lies matter) were sticking up for the gorilla over the 'white boy". Equating the gorilla's killing with cops shooting a Michael Brown in some cases. That changed when the boy was discovered to be black.
In other words, many black americans feel more kinship with gorillas than they do white people.

To: AnthonySoprano
Race is irrelevant here...as it is in many news stories.

, Twitter was afire with White Priviledge cries, and commentary saying that if the child hadn't been white (in reality, he isnt), they wouldn't have killed the Gorilla.
BLM members and supporters ever said this was whites abusing a rare creature captured in Africa and brought here against its will.
Tell me why this reaction should be censored?
Are you clamoring for censorship?
This is why if Trayvon had jumped a black guy and been shot, you would've never heard the story.

.
Yes, exactly.
And any veteran of the liberal media bias knows that the Liberal and BLM cries would’ve been discussed seriously, if the late breaking (internet) news didn’t report the kid isn’t white.
They were fully ready to discuss - until it became off-limits totally.

The elephant in the room is this, the fault lies not with the child, not with the parent, not with the Gorilla, but with the Zoo. It was their responsibility to assure the public that there would be no possible entry into the Gorilla compound, yet a 4 year old found a way in, and was put in danger. The shoot a dart into the gorilla would have caused additional danger to the child, the Zoo personnel knew this, which is way killing to Gorilla was the only immediate option they had.
The fault, was entirely the Zoo. And they know it.

So because loony lefties made an aborted attempt to inject race into the story, everyone else should follow their lead?
To: samtheman
I live in the in Cincinnati and I don’t remember anything being said by blacks when they thought the kid was white.
Maybe I missed it though. I usually pay more attention to national and international news.

I'm not an animal expert. Suffice to say I'm not an expert of primate behavior. But I feel that the child was in no danger from the gorilla. I say that because the gorilla no doubt could see that this, living thing, for lack of a better term was small and didn't present a threat. The animal could no doubt see that. If it supposed otherwise I'm sure at best the gorilla might just have moved to a corner of it's enclosure and kept an eye on the child waiting perhaps and confident that any attempt at aggression by this small being would easily have been rebuffed. If by some chance an adult have fallen into the enclosure the animal I'm sure would have perceived there was a threat and the unfortunate adult would have been pummeled to death. I think more than anything the poor animal was startled and somewhat confused by the sudden appearance of this little thing into its world and was probably waiting for the other humans to do something about coming to get the child.

The Reaction on the Internet and Social Media was censored.
To: Boogieman
No. But it is fun watching the lefties twist themselves in knots over this story.

“It was their responsibility to assure the public that there would be no possible entry into the Gorilla compound...”
This is impossible, since the public are humans. An enclosure has not yet been invented (and I wager it never will be invented) that a determined human won’t be able to find a way to enter. Solving such problems is what humans do.

And the Media would’ve went further, had the Right interjected race and made ugly assumptions - the stories would’ve been about the Ugly Racism on the Right, and they would’ve asked Trump to refute it.
Bill O’Reilly would lead with that story.
News Director Shep Smith wouldve had on experts to condemn and broadcast that story.

What about the fault of the parents in not supervising the child? It takes some time for a small child to crawl over a fence.

How many millions of visitors has this zoo had without this kind of incident happening?
