I am just writing this, to recognize there are a lot of Cruz supporters here, and to encourage discussion between both side, to rebuild teamwork on our side for November.
Please just understand, this was sent to me by a very loyal Ted Cruz supporter. I assure you.
Enjoy please. Good job Ted Cruz in a good competition, and best of luck to our candidate in the fall.
I believe Trump will win this. Let's all get together, and support him.

“1) I believe the author is correct. If Ted Cruz would have won the nomination, he would have lost the election. Indisputably so.”
DEAD ON! In fact that’s EXACTLY why so many conservatives decided to go with Trump. The Dems would have made MINCED MEAT out of Cruz, and may still do so in Texas in 2018, now that Cruz has given them so much ammo.
Cruz sold out to the GOPe. He’s dead to me.
They were DROOLING - which is why the Wisconsin Democrat machine ordered their minions to cross over to vote for Cruz in the Milwaukee area counties.
They tried the same thing in Indiana - but the Indiana Democrat machine doesn't fire on all cylinders like the Wisconsin machine does...
So, instead - Ted was Trump's baby Harp seal - and now Hillary is feeling the gentle caress of the Trump baby Harp seal club...
Being a Canadian, exactly what career would he foresee in American politics? An Ambassador? He has stood erect and attempted to accomplish what he promised Texans. For that he has our gratitude. However, there are a few springs below the surface which now flow out. Elected Senator by voters who were NEVER told the guy was a Canadian. The first of dirty water found. And knowing full well he cannot be a NBC the ego would not allow him to think twice about the road to the White House. Doubt he would ever get this vote again. Too much water under the bridge...murky water unsuitable for swimming. If his actions were planned to instigate change in some murky portion of our ‘laws’, it is suggested he work fast and furious to enlighten voters as to exactly what and why this game had to be played. We anxiously await any and all explanations.
I’m in Texas. Has Ted returned from his Mexico Vacation? I mean missing 47% of Senate votes, then being exhausted after a week back...
Go back to Canada you Carpetbagger. Fooled me once you FReep.
Sheesh, I hate auto correct . I typed Creep, not FReep.
Two words describe Ted Cruz: No ethics.
He’s going to have to pull off some kind of miracle to win back people’s good will and trust.
Vote Trump!
Agreed. It’s amazing how delusional those Cruz supporters who don’t see it, are. We’ve gotten used to playing the 47% vs. 47% game, where both parties over 6% of the voters. And we know how that usually turns out. The idea that Cruz would have the ability to gain a groundswell of support from dems and independents is laughable. And yet Trump is doing that by holding very conservative positions on most issues.
Got back to DC yesterday. Is calling for the VA chief to resign.
Cruz couldn’t have survived the onslaught that Jeb! and the big donors would be hurling at him at the Convention. They weren’t weakened by Cruz, they were destroyed by Trump and that’s why they aren’t a factor anymore. They’d still be in play otherwise.
Cruz simply isn’t the street fighter that Trump is. Trump has made Cruz’s opportunity look bigger than it was because Trump cleared the field of everyone else first.
” There wasnt a Dave Brat running against John Cornyn in his senate primary and unless there is such a competitor running against Ted Cruz, he will likewise be reelected. “

Dewhurst could give Cruz a run, if he chose to.
Cruz held Dewhurst under 50 in that Senate election, forcing the run off that nobody came to, except the religiously political religious Right. Cruz won that run off with 4% of the Republican vote, I read.
Off that 4% he launched a presidential run the next day.
What a guy. He used that Senate seat as only a springboard stop. Doubt he even likes that job.
These are the folks who in November will find satisfaction in saying, “Cruze would have lost worse”.
I was just asking about that the other day.....has cRuz even returned from his Mexican vacay-from-a-vacay??
Was his family really with him there?
cRuz keeps sending me a DocuSign form to sign, so he can reallocate my (very early Prez donation) to his Senate reelection run.
I’m going to ask for him to return my $$.
Spot on.
Thanks.
Describes me to a tee!
HIs brand is evangelical conservative yet he lost most of the South (everywhere except Texas and Oklahoma) and overall I think he only won 4 primaries (the rest were caucuses). Im not sure I see a big future for him outside of his own Senate seat assuming he retains that.
Standing with violent communists on the day they attacked GOP primary voters does not lend itself to a long term national stature in the conservative movement. Cruz made his bed. Now he has to lay in it.
Oh, is he just now noticing the problems at the VA, or trying to pretend he gives a damn?

Beltway kabuki. Cruz missed an important Senate vote last week for some pool time in Mexico. No do-overs on that one.
Im going to ask for him to return my $$.
Good on you. Tell him to hawk some of his Buddy from the Bush family's leftover guaca-bowls if he needs $$$.
