President Obama has pushed the "prepper movement" into high gear, sending millions to buy guns, survival gear and food to live through a "civil war," according to a nationally known survivalist who calls on Americans to prepare in a new book.
Bryce M. Towsley, whose "Prepper Guns" details the best weapons and ammo to survive a political or natural disaster, wrote,
"I have watched in horror as Obama has attacked America with the brilliance that has allowed him to succeed."
The National Rifle Association field editor and a well-known survivalist said he is calling on Americans to be ready
for a situation in which authorities can't be trusted..."

If my Dad were still here he’d interview with Caro. Dad was in the Pentagon 1964-68 & the OSD staff hated Johnson’s guts. LBJ micromanaged the Vietnam War down to squad level. His ROE got many people killed. Officers summoned to the WH were required to wear business suits. BTW, the Clintons were not the first to have uniformed officers handing out canapes.
LBJ croaked in January 1973. Often wondered if senior military celebrated in secret.
I have been thinking about this too for a long time. I can not see how a civil war or even a state secession could actually come about. I agreee with you regarding the lack of a cohesive ideological force. The only thing that I can see is if the Feds to get rid of the second ammendment. Thoughts?

I didn’t know there was a volume 4 and going to be a 5. I loaned out volume one and never got it back. I listened to volume 3 on audio and I still have Master of The Senate.
At some point during the reading of one of those books it was like a light came on in my head. LBJ murdered JFK!
After getting to know him through reading about him I realized that NOTHING could stop him from what he wanted!

LBJ was scum, evil scum! In the 40 and 50 my conservative Texas father hated LBJ. I didn't find out the reason why until later.
I’m no expert, but it seems a Constitutional Convention would be required to delete the 2nd Amendment. Congress can’t legislate it out (but could bury it in legislative action) and the President can’t delete it by Executive Privilege.
This helps to explain why so many of us are impatient with nevertrumpers.

I had been afraid since the choice was made as VP. There had been such hatred between the two groups.
I believe Obama learned from the lesson and that is why Hillary had to take Secretary of State.
I certainly hope DJT is wise too.
