The number of children referred to gender identity clinics has doubled in the last year. Children as young as three were among the 1,419 under-16s who received support during 2015/16.
That's an increase from the 697 children the previous year who believe they were born in the wrong body. Parents are now having to wait up to nine months to take their child to a clinic after being referred by their GP. Figures from the Gender Identity Development Service show they treated three children aged three last year.
Dr. Polly Carmichael, from the clinic which is part of the Tavistock Centre, told The Sun the rise was unprecedented.
'Young people are making the full social transition living full-time in their preferred gender inside and outside the home at earlier ages,' she said.
Children and their parents talk to psychologists, psychiatrists and experts at the North London clinic as part of consultations. Poppy, now nine, has made the transition from a boy to a girl.
She said: 'I didn't feel right as a boy. When I was little I'd go to a wishing well in my garden and wish I was a girl. I'm so happy now that wish has come true.'
Children who attend the clinic can be given medication but would not be eligible for any gender reassignment surgery until 18. Hormone blockers can be prescribed to children under 16 which helps to prevent the development of typically male or female features.
Cross-sex hormones can then be given to children at 16 if they wish to continue treatment.

More work for planned parenthood. ugh!
Uh, Pluto is STILL a Planet....
This is what causes masculine mothers to often have gay sons. There are many different influencing factors that I have identified by reading the soul field. It’s pretty easy to determine what stimulated the consciousness shift that created the gender identity switch.
Many people still think the earth is flat....
A planet of any size at Pluto’s distance from the Sun would be hard pressed to keep its path clear.....
There is absolutely NO WAY a 3 year old believes anything for longer than a day or so. They are open to everything and very suggestible.
I know that if they think they are “in the wrong body” it is because someone told them so ... and keeps telling them so every single day.
PURE EVIL
“The homos behind this horror should have millstones tied around their necks and be flung into the sea.”
Any stats gathered on which ?? Lite in the Loafers, or Penis envy ? /sarc
I'm a female and was a tomboy. I sometimes pretended to be Annie Oakley, but more often pretended to be male characters, very likely because there were more of them on tv. I remember when I was two or three, I tried to pee standing up like my dad - needless to say, that didn't work too well. (I mopped up the mess with a towel and "hid" the towel behind the toilet.) I would compete with my brothers. But I never thought I felt like I was a boy. I never thought I felt like a girl. I just felt like me. These days, I suppose a lot of parents who had a girl pretending to be Seth Adams on Wagon Train (though I did think the scout Flint McCullough was cute) or Rusty on Rin Tin Tin would assume their daughter wanted to be a boy.
What is their goal on this? I think I know, just asking all you.
History repeats, endlessly!
Anyone recall the EPIDEMIC of Child Daycare abuse accusations (1980-90s)? Remember the ‘term of art’ referred to as “recovered / repressed memories” from very young children? Remember how it later became evident that while a very small number of these child abuse cases were real, a great number of the accusations came from children browbeaten and pushed to make accusations in order to appease their ‘adult friends’!
Any similarity? Of course not! /sarc
“Symptoms
Affected individuals report a delusional belief that they are in the process of transforming into an animal or have already transformed into an animal. It has been linked with the altered states of mind that accompany psychosis (the reality-bending mental state that typically involves delusions and hallucinations) with the transformation only seeming to happen in the mind and behavior of the affected person.”
Utter insanity.
Why not administer hormone-blockers to the fetus in the womb? Because that is the time when gender identity is set—not later, when a boy perceives that his parents really wanted a girl and acts accordingly.
All embryos start out physically female. Literally, a flood of testosterone surges through the embryo’s body early in development and causes the formation of male body parts (including a male brain). Without that early flood, the embryo remains female. Someone who is born with the Y chromosome but who genetically cannot respond to the flood of testosterone remains mostly female (mostly, because the gonads, which produce the testosterone, do not develop into testes and the individual remains sterile).
What this all means is that gender is physically set during early development, and there is no such thing as a “boy born into a girl’s body” or vice-versa. *That* concept is pure lunatic blather.
Well the ones with penis envy will have to save up for an Addadicktome operation.
This is SO timely. Just found out a week ago that one of my cousins is lesbian. The stupid woman (I am so angry with her) is convinced her four/five year old daughter is transgender. How the heck could anyone know! The little girl has three older brothers, she’s probably a tom-boy. Girls grow out of that stage and then want to play with princesses and other frilly things. The problem is my little cousin will never have a chance because her mother, in the gay relationship, is too busy with being popular in her GAY CLUB to let the girl be a girl. Sacrificing to Molech for an evil cause.
They are hooked up with the Tavistock Institute, a rather creepy organization thought by some to be involved in mass social engineering.
A lesbian with four children? That’s a lot of turkey basting.
And just how many thoroughly feminine adult women were tomboys when they were younger?
It happens.
