Months ago, as a joke, I said Trump might pick Jim Webb. I can’t believe there are actually people here hoping for him to pick a leftist like Webb.
Newt for 4 years. He’s Dick Cheney on steroids. Rubio at State where he can transform our Foreign Policy towards South America. He could set himself up as the next DEMOCRATICALLY elected Presidente of Cuba.
I was talking about this with my 27 year old son, and he suggested Jim Webb.
I remarked that that's not bad, but I didn't think there'd be a whole lot of name recognition with his generation.
He said, you don't need to worry about my generation, this would be a choice for yours !
Newt is the only one who can cram Trumps agenda in the first 100 days. He will keep the Congress open 24/7 scrapping Obama bills and passing Trump bills. No one else will have a clue. As Vice President, he will have the authority to make this happen. Big League!
Trump says he wants someone who has DC knowledge to help him get bills and budgets thru congress.
Newt is the only Speaker alive that did this even with a Dem President
