It’s a safe bet that many if not most who support Ted Cruz are not aware of the Cult that goes with that support, the kind of demon that they would be putting in charge of our nation. One that falsely professes to be a Christian but unlike anything most of us would associate with legitimate Christianity. It’s time for Cruz supporters to open their eyes and see what it is that has control over their judgment. They’re voting and advocating for a cultish figure, one not very different from Jim Jones and Jonestown.

I was just kidding, but am not sure you can say the same about Trump identifying Rafael Cruz as Oswald’s companion in Dallas. Even if he believed that, he’s not stupid and must know it sounds nucking futs. Most people have a little stop between what pops into their head and what exits their lips out loud. Brushing off the apparent lack of that as honesty has been working for you folks so far. But these latest examples are just bizarre.

Holds grudges for decades, likes to gamble...yet wants to be the one in Sunday School “teaching” everyone else.

I really don’t get the Freeper hostility to this idea of Christians trying to make an impact in their world. According to the article these “evil cult” people want Christians to get involved in and influence “Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion” The only example the author gives is Bill Bright who started Campus Crusades - what an awful thing to do ministering to college kids!
The communists decided 60 years ago that the only way they could take over America was by infiltrating “Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion” Seems like they did a pretty good job of their goal. Art, Media and Education are totally dominated by the godless and anti-Christian left. They have infiltrated a great many Churches to their spiritual and functional destruction. As another Freeper pointed out a hundred years ago Christians were heavily involved in all of these 7 things. We built schools and universities, hospitals and YMCAs. Businesses proudly proclaimed their founders faith and protected and supported the faith of their workers. Art and entertainment respected the public morality, a Christian one, and produced works of beauty reflecting God’s creation.
It seems like this election has got a lot of Freepers to lose their senses and compass. If we rewound 6 months and took a poll of Christian Freepers and asked them if they thought it was important in the war we are fighting today against the Left , for Christians to stand up in Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion it would have been a nearly unanimous yes. We live in a country with 50 state gay marriage, transgender idiocy, blatant persecution of Christians, a Maoist atmosphere on college campuses, brainwashing of your kids from Pre-K, and a media that promotes it all. I think it is very much time for Christians to step back into the crucible.

Right and that’s how you and others answer me here, not knowing I am a Trump supporter and actually don’t care for Cruz, although that is fairly irrelevant.
Anyway, this discussion centers on this whole “anti-establishment” thing which desperately needs to happen and hope Trump helps to happen. Weirdly, supposed Trump supporters here argue against getting our institutions into the right hands because they have some convoluted idea that if Cruz is for that it must be wrong. Yet that is exactly what Trump stands for.

You say “Let one’s LIGHT shine, not their mouths”, I say your silence is part of the problem but somehow I’m the nutcase? I don’t think so.
Again, it is WAY past time for men and women of faith to rise to the top of these profession and institutions so that once again America will thrive and be a light to the world. If Cruz is for that , then he’s right. It certainly is why a lot of people like myself are for Trump.

America is perhaps the only nation in the History of the human race which began as a duality, part political/secular and part religious, designed to remain separated by the documents which established the Republic. For the last sixty plus years, the destruction of that duality has been pressed in earnest. It is no longer a mystery by whom ... satan hates America. And when you see the ‘prosperity gospel’ lining up for action with the political manipulators (not honest politics, manipulation and deception, for graft and debauchery) you can see the end of the once great Republic is near.
