I really don’t get the Freeper hostility to this idea of Christians trying to make an impact in their world. According to the article these “evil cult” people want Christians to get involved in and influence “Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion” The only example the author gives is Bill Bright who started Campus Crusades - what an awful thing to do ministering to college kids!
The communists decided 60 years ago that the only way they could take over America was by infiltrating “Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion” Seems like they did a pretty good job of their goal. Art, Media and Education are totally dominated by the godless and anti-Christian left. They have infiltrated a great many Churches to their spiritual and functional destruction. As another Freeper pointed out a hundred years ago Christians were heavily involved in all of these 7 things. We built schools and universities, hospitals and YMCAs. Businesses proudly proclaimed their founders faith and protected and supported the faith of their workers. Art and entertainment respected the public morality, a Christian one, and produced works of beauty reflecting God’s creation.
It seems like this election has got a lot of Freepers to lose their senses and compass. If we rewound 6 months and took a poll of Christian Freepers and asked them if they thought it was important in the war we are fighting today against the Left , for Christians to stand up in Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Family, Government, Media and Religion it would have been a nearly unanimous yes. We live in a country with 50 state gay marriage, transgender idiocy, blatant persecution of Christians, a Maoist atmosphere on college campuses, brainwashing of your kids from Pre-K, and a media that promotes it all. I think it is very much time for Christians to step back into the crucible.
