Ted is fighting for his political life. He's cratering in Indiana. Maybe he figured if a female running mate isn't enough, a crippled female running mate might just put him over the top.

I definitely do not think that Cruz pushed her. I saw nothing to indicate that could even be a possibility.
But I cannot imagine at all that he was unaware of what happened, and he made no move to help her, which I thought was outrageous.

Carly Fiorina, after introducing the Cruz family at a rally, evidently falls down. Not sure if she was hurt or not. But the Cruz’s behind her seem oblivious to her plight.
I hope she’s okay.

No need to pile on. Ted’s Campaign is already taking on water and I’m a former Cruzer saying it.
I remember Trump saying a couple of weeks ago that he is very careful using the steps going up and down from the Stage.
I noticed he always uses the hand rail when getting on and off his Plane. Slow and deliberate is the way to go.
Heck, I do the same thing. Don’t want to break a Hip at my advanced age.
I think the older Cruz daughter (the one who seems to dislike her dad) pushed Carly. Time to remake The Bad Seed? (yes I am kidding).
Watch the expressions on Heidi’s face. Ted just ignored Carly, but, after a quick look of surprise, Heidi got a mean girl grin, then went back to smile and wave.
Contrast that with Trump’s reaction to situations where someone like Ben Carson didn’t hear his name called at a debate Intro, and Trump stood with him, or when Trump left the stage to go to someone who was ill in his audience.
He didn’t push her. But could she have staged it to add a little more excitement to his rallies, which have not drawn impressive crowds.
