And that’s all she wrote on the FR caucus threads. I voted every day time expect for a couple days early on.
It has been fun...
I really liked the vertical bar graph. It seemed to show more than days of the week...actual media event coverage effected the rise and fall.
its been fun, thanks to all who particpated
WELL DONE to all who labored long and hard to make this inaugural Free Republic Caucus a stunning success!
Thank you for all the effort behind these FR caucus votes.
I’ve been voting most days: first for Rand Paul, then, when he dropped out, for Ted Cruz (as the best remaining candidate on the issues).
But today, for the last caucus, I simply voted No. I still don’t think Trump is the right person, but I can no longer support Cruz.
Cruz’s selection of Carly Fiorina as promised running mate is the last straw for me. If he had chosen a liberty-minded person, that would have sent a signal that I would have appreciated. But Fiorina? No.
First, a BIG THANKS to everyone involved in collecting, counting, collating, charting, and posting the results each day. I have been fascinated both by the discussion thread and seeing the results each day.
Next, this caucus is what made up my mind to stick around FR when I was close to giving up on it. Why? Well, when I finally switched from Trump/Cruz to just Trump, it seemed like every thread was loaded with nastiness and vitriol towards Trump. I remember going into the Trump threads and there were insults every other post, but when I went into some of the Cruz threads they were claimed to be “victory threads” or some such and Trump posters were not welcome.
Then one night I stumbled across the Caucus. Even back then, it was 80-20 Trump-Cruz. And I realized that not only were there a fair amount of like-minded people here, but a majority of them. So I decided to stick around and after a while started voting in the Caucus myself.
As old as I am, this is my first primary vote ever and although I paid some attention to the primary the last 2 cycles, this is the most I have ever been involved by far. Actually, after this one I hope never to be involved again LOL.
So thanks for the Caucus!
Thanks to all for your work on these threads. I voted on the last caucus a couple of hours ago, and it’s been a lot of fun.

The discussion threads and graphs have been interesting. I tried to vote every day, but I missed a few here and there. Thanks to you all for the threads and your hard work!
