Why are we seeing so much hatred this time around in regard to our potential candidates? I don't care for Trump and certainly would have trouble voting for him, but you would not catch me saying the sort of things about him or his supporters that we usually reserve for those trying to rend the country in two and destroy what is left of our liberties. The things I see said about Cruz and those who support him serve no good purpose, and yes similar things are said about Trump and his supporters, but not to nearly the same extent. Aren't we supposed to be on the same side here? This has gone beyond disagreement into absolute hatred. This is the reason the liberals win elections, because conservatives become so fractured that they cannot compete. The GOP left conservatives behind a long time ago, but with this bickering and infighting, all we are doing is letting them destroy us.
Trump supporters get their nastiness from Trump.
Do not discount the fact that many of those out there JUST DON’T GET IT.
The same could be said for those "posing" as Trump supporters. Who really knows?
I'll vote for Trump over Hillary, but not enthusiastically because he's way less conservative than Romney was and I even held my nose to vote for Romney.
Why so much haTRED ... You haters?
You can’t punch somebody in the nose over the internet.. yet.
But that day will likely come .. ;-)
“Do not discount the fact that many of those posing as Cruz supporters and trying to stir up hatred are actually leftist trolls.”
Probably more like Romney, Jeb, Ryan types. They know they cannot tout the person they support here, so they’re simply trying to tear down Trump, to throw the nomination process to Cleveland. In fact, if Cruz was on the same roll as Trump, with the same delegate lead, they’ be posing as Trump supporters to try to stop Cruz.
The REAL Cruz supporters understand that all Cruz can do is hand the nomination to the GOPe. All of those delegates that SAY they’re supporting Cruz on 2nd and later ballots are doing that to keep him in the race...when crunch time comes on later ballots (if that happens), those Cruz supporters will be LONG GONE and we’ll end up with someone like Ryan...just as he pulled that stunt to be House Speaker.
Sad to see, but at least people on our side are GETTING THE MESSAGE as to what happens if Trump doesn’t get the nomination.
buh-bye!
So what happened? Trump dropped the "more Presidential" and went back to being Rally Trump. Voters are mad as *ell about the rigged game that's almost completely destroyed the US. They responded at the voting booth today. Cruz took the backstabbing to new levels, and that's unforgiveable. .
Please think hard about your support of Cruz. Read his resume and see how his actions confirm all the negatives in it. Then you'll understand why a lot of us are in no mood to "forgive and forget" with the Collusionists. The only silver lining is they're both probably not on any VP list!
This isn't personal against you. But, please, understand that the US is at a nearly irreversible juncture. Senator Cruz playing the game as it's always been played is extremely counterproductive to our hopes to perhaps turn things around.

16K on the stream and it hasn’t even started yet!
If there’s anything I hate it’s his ... Atudie.
Cruz went willingly over to the side of GOP leadership and he deserves every bit of scorn heaped upon him.
Here’s what I think, I’m a cruzer from Texas, tonight is definitely gonna be a bad night and so to may be Indiana. I think and hope Ted man’s up and says, “it over” because unless they play RNC games in Cleveland nobody will follow their road.
Like I said, I’m happy Ted is my Senator and if he loses (Of which I hope soon he concedes,” but he’ll still be my Senator and that’s ok with me.
I think after tonight Trump needs to work for down ticket candidates otherwise if the house and senate go Dem, it’s game over
I think it is because so much rests on this election, where we have seen the politicians betray the country so blatantly.
I like Cruz, and I like Trump. I would have liked to see a fusion ticket, but the two have egos too big to fit in the same White House, it seems.
That sort of ego seems necessary to win the White House. I would have liked to see less personal attacks, but both seem to view the outcome as so important as to not hold back the slightest weapon.
It is insane the over the top accusations by both sides, and they seem to be egged on by subtle trolling.
Nobody is detroying me. I’m voting for the conservative. Sometimes hatred is due and earned and it’s silly to pretend it’s not.
The stakes the very survival of our country depended on it more tha ever in my life
Toomey, in Pa even though her went Cruz, Trump needs to do events there to keep the R’s in majority
Well, we sure appreciate you popping back on to FR, after SCARCELY posting on FR over the years, to voice your concern....tara wa.
Your new found concern is noted.
The fish rots from the head.
Man, I thought you were posting a track by the band “Fugazi”... that would probably be a first for FR.
Well, let me be the first then :)
