I think it is because so much rests on this election, where we have seen the politicians betray the country so blatantly.
I like Cruz, and I like Trump. I would have liked to see a fusion ticket, but the two have egos too big to fit in the same White House, it seems.
That sort of ego seems necessary to win the White House. I would have liked to see less personal attacks, but both seem to view the outcome as so important as to not hold back the slightest weapon.
It is insane the over the top accusations by both sides, and they seem to be egged on by subtle trolling.

I’m a cruzer here in Texas, from a NE inner city kink of where trump comes from.
When we were younger on the corner or were ever, we would crack jokes so bad making every body laugh where you thought Tony was doing his brother or mother or whatever. On the corner there never were any bounds where we could crack up on each other. Sure some guys got butthurt but usually the next day we were out there laughing again.
I can guarantee Trump will be able to convince Ted it was all part of the game.
