So when Donald...
My crystal ball

So when the genius rips up trade agreements and a trade war erupts where will America be able to sell its exports when every country puts massive tariffs on all US goods as a result? Just wondering because he acts like they will all just grab their ankles and bend over...which they won't.

I guess you missed the fact that other countries are manipulating their currency to make US exports more expensive or putting out right tariffs on them. We are already LOSING trade wars.

Sorry but they will.
In fact afterwards they will say thank you sir may I have another period.
It’ll be done in such a way that it is Progressive and those who refuse to capitulate and engage in Fair Trade will have the screws tightened One Step at a Time.
In addition certain parties will be made an example of first.
After Progressive tightening of the screws and a few helpful samples trade equality will begin to make sense even to the people who’ve been ripping us off and getting by with it for the last decade.
It’ll work something like that
And selectively over a period of time those who fail to capitulate will have to deal with the fact that we will take that manufacturing sector back through local manufacturing here within the United States. It will begin the process of restoring our manufacturing base. Which is actually the intent.
Americas manufacturing Independence restored.

If you did the SLIGHTEST research on the subject every other country in the world places a tariff on our exports to them. China is one of the worst.

We don’t need tariffs in equal trade countries.
Places like China, Mexico and Japan need tariffs.

We can blame other countries all we want, but the reality is that America has regulated its own industry right out of here. Between the EPA, IRS, OSHA, USFWS, ACOE, and a host of other regulatory agencies it is just too difficult or expensive to do business in an environment where the regulations are constantly being changed.
Why not go to some place where the HSE department might be one guy, instead of an army, where 'human resources' is the guy who tells you to get back to work without worrying about what words he uses, and where the environmental standards don't require a complete refit of your plant to yet another, newer, higher standard as soon as the last refit to bring you into compliance with the old standard was completed.
Sure, stuff from elsewhere is cheaper, even with shipping. You think Americans can't outproduce that? Sure we can. If we get the government off our collective back.
