Not the move of a confident player. He could just pocket the money and hit a white-hot free agent market in a couple of years and have his pick of teams.
If I had 30-50% of his money I would quit and live the life of Riley on my remote hobby ranch.
Shoot 10%.
Good, Bradford sucks and he shouldn’t start.
chip kelly’s legacy lives on....
Sounds kind of childish, really.
The Eagles haven’t even picked a position or player yett and this brat is whining about possibly not being the starter?
Cowboys should definitely consider getting Bradford. No way Romo plays all 16 games this season.
Bradford should have figured out by now that teams are through paying for his Hypesman Trophy. His agent may be blowing smoke up his skirt or Sam may not even be listening to his agent telling him to keep backing up to the Eagles’ pay window. Then Sam will have the dough to go visit his statue in Norman outside the OU stadium when he retires.
So Bradford is done with football also.
Sad.
Idiot
Cleveland needs another mediocre QB; sounds like a good fit.
Opinion based upon observation:
I had watched Bradford in several OK games. He would look to the sidelines for the next play. The TV camera would zoom in on him and his eyes. He always had a look of confidence/routine/non-chalance when he looked to the sidelines.
In the bowl game for the national championship, which OK lost, when he looked to the sidelines for the next play, he had a look of fear in his eyes.
That is when I decided that he did not have what it takes to be a big-time QB. Thus far, he has proven my observation to be correct.
Agreed. His ego must be working overtime. Heck, he’s going to get $22 million guaranteed. I’d shovel sh!t and smile all the way to the bank for that kind of cash. But he doesn’t have to do that. Worse case scenario for him is he ends up sitting on the bench and still collects boatloads of cash.
Sam Bradford was the Rams’ booby prize. He was the last #1 pick before the rookie contracts were brought under control. It was a poor QB crop that year. The Rams should have traded down or grabbed the top WR or OL. (20/20 hindsight)
This is crazy.I’m gonna call my husband right now.Drama
Bradford can make a good living as a backup, but that’s about it.
They just traded away 5 picks to get the #2 spot, they’re not going to be starting Bradford after that, he’s making the right move, get traded now because a year on the bench behind a rookie isn’t going to make him white hot in the free agent market. Any Denver needs a QB, and the Eagles need some draft picks.
Backup QB behind a guy that doesn’t get injured is a great job in the NFL. Jim Sorgi had 6 fun years here in Indy as Manning’s valet/butler/chauffeur.
