The secret of red vegetables would lie on a substance called lycopene.

Cashews were included and they are a seed, not a nut.
That is the writer’s interpretation of what the nutritionist said. The actual report is probably available online if you search. He might have used the word “produce” instead of “vegetable” before proceeding to mention tomatoes, apricots, watermelon.
I like tomatoes, but in the supermarkets and even in specialty stores such as Whole Foods, they mostly come from Mexico, and I avoid produce from that country.
I was diagnosed with benign prostatitis a few years ago, so I eat as many tomatoes, sauce, etc. as I can, and snack a lot on peanuts. No real problems since.
Will have to try tomatoes fried in olive oil. Have a doctor appt./checkup tomorrow.
Brrrr.

It’s called Vitamin D binding protein, or VDBP. Look it up.
It seems to cure almost every form of cancer.
Which reminds me.
Back in my 30’s I switched Doctors. The new Dr. tells me to come in for a complete Physical, something I had never done before since I was young and vital. Or so I thought.
I put on the Gown, get the Vitals checked and then an EKG.
The Doctor comes in, asks me some questions and checks my Heart, Lungs, Glands and whatever else they look for.
Then he puts on the Rubber Glove. It’s Showtime!
I get on the table on all fours and I nervously say, I’ve never had this Exam before and I’m a little Nervous.
Without missing a beat he replies, you only need to be nervous if I put both my Hands on your Shoulders.
When I started laughing he moved in for the kill. LOL
well Apricots have stones and we know he doesn't have stones.
Purple heirloom tomatoes. Mexico is ok for some veggys, just be sure they are washed thuroughly
I make a good spaghetti with Campbell’s Tomato Soup. Garden grown tomatoes, sun ripened, are to die for.
That's homophobic..

On the downside many drugs including OTC cold & sinus medications can have negative effects on the prostate.
I was diagnosed last year at age 50 and have eaten this stuff all my life.
Aren’t watermelons racist?
