I just don't think as fast as usual. Was drinking coffee with friends in the mall after walking the 2 miles. Joan said, look at that lady, she has anorexia. And the mind finally clicked. I realized she didn't have anorexia or if she did have anorexia the definition of anorexia really means the reasonable need of the mind to lose enough weight so that one can look like a scarecrow.
Hey,,,,,,, everyone that has anorexia is as normal as you and me no problem!!!!!!!
My mother suffered from it. That’s how I know. That was long before anyone knew what it was. The early 70’s.
Sorry to hear that.
My wife sees 3-4 anorexics a day. That’s how I know.
Eat more and lift weights. Don’t just sit around trying to put on FAT.
I eat high calorie foods..love sweets.
Look like lifting weights would burn up calories. :)
Lifting weights requires calories, but unlike cardio, it should build some muscle.
Whatever you are doing, if you aren’t gaining weight, the answer is ALWAYS the same: eat more. And you should be eating much more protein, and more fat. Carbs—simple or complex—are basically poison, whatever your weight is.
Thank you
There are all kinds of digestive disorders that cause a person to have the look of an anorexic. Celiac’s, crohn’s, I’ve a friend with both, and she is skeletal. Lucky to weigh 90 lbs.
Gastroparesis SLOW MOTILITY is another. You are either puking or have diarrhea or both. Your meals may all be done in a blender, as fiber or fat is out. Bland is how you eat, very small meals. And not the 6 they tell you to eat.
Last night’s supper at 3pm was half a baked potato. With a fresh fruit smoothy with no SOY or dairy about 7 pm. Intestinal pain never ceases.
bezor It’s gross but this is what can happen with GP.

Thanks for the most informative post. The struggle must be brutal.
Anorexia affected a member of my family 35 years ago and it was a nightmare. Doctors weren’t even familiar with it.
We did get lucky, though, and found treatment (after a year-long search) that was a success.
.
My niece has a digestive disorder and she also looks Anorexic. Lots of hospital visits, with no diagnosis, they think she comes in for the pain med. She doesn’t even take Tylenol if she can help it. Mom of 2, works all the time.
Then you have the Hyperthyroid patient who is not on medication they will be super thin too.
With GP I had to diagnosis it, all they wanted to do is call it Idiopathic Colitis. Well it didn’t fit. Damage to the Vagus Nerve from a face first fall that bruised my entire AB and Rib wall along with the longest nerve in the body. Ginger Root got the nausea/vomiting under control. Constipation/Diarrhea are still an issue, a painful one. Plus I have other serious health conditions some of them due to the drugs I’ve been put on.
Anorexic chose their life style because of a wrapped view of body image promoted by Hollywierd and the model mags. You have to look like a super model to be thought beautiful, when a normal weight is what God intended. Moderation in eating and exercising accomplishes that. Know what looks well on you and your body style, not all of us are blessed to be 6 ft tall and weigh 100 lbs. I’m 5 ft, my ideal weight for my muscle and bone structure is 125 lbs tops. 120 is where I look and feel the best. I have big muscles structure for a woman but small bones.
