If we can't pick our nominee then we should get the chance to vote for delegates. The RNC/GOP should not be able to wine/dine and cherry pick delegates.
THIS NASTINESS IS NOT A REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC. IT IS CHERRY-PICKED AND GERRY-MANDERED ON BOTH SIDES.
Democrat and Republican are just made up words to give us the appearance we have a choice.
D.C. is an elite club and we ain't in it!!!!!
I have. My local party chair is an establishment rino. Tried the get involved route. Nice try.
That's just a bunch of defeatist drivel. Grab some spine man, and open your eyes. The Tea Party didn't cower under their covers when things weren't going their way. This fall, our county will seize the school board from 20 years of liberal rule. Yeah, it took a lot of effort and commitment but things can be changed on a local, state and national level if you have some sand and show some spine.

I'm a Trump supporter and I know how the system works. I'm familiar with grassroots politics, the delegate system, electoral laws, etc.. I'm not whining about the rules. Never have, never will.
Your post however indicates a complete ignorance of the corruption that exists within our political system today, and ignores the reality that the delegate system was introduced as a protection mechanism in both political parties as a means to protect the status quo. That has been created by a dynamic set of rules, capable of being changed by party insiders at the state and federal levels.
In short: the delegate system introduced in the 1970's which was designed to put a competitive structure around electing a President isn't the same delegate system we have today. The rules can change every election cycle (as they did in 2012, designed to lock out Ron Paul) and are seemingly at the will of party insiders, again at the state and federal level.
To play the "Ted Cruz followed the rules and won" card simply points to Cruz as being a "party insider" capable of following/bending the rules to reach the desired end. In today's world, that doesn't play with a pissed off electorate, as Ted Cruz and likely yourself are figuring out.
What is a Congressional system?
Oh you “tried” but it turned out to be hard. And THAT is why they get to do whatever the hell they want. So many folks find that anything beyond complaining is just too much effort. Getting involved isn’t a one shot deal, it’s a commitment. If you want the local party to change, you need to WORK AT IT. You successfully identified the problem, but couldn’t be bothered with the solution (find the alliance of people who want to dump him, there’s always some, and HELP).
You'll type on your keyboard.
Let’s book for Cleveland now brother.
We get a room, split the rates.
Cruz .. by .. hook .. or .. by .. Crook
I’ll be more than happy to share the info you need to know i’ll be there and i’ll expect you to pay me half when we meet.
That's because he carries the GOPe water. Always has and always will.
Delegate spread sheet in PA. by district.
Trump could have played by the rules and won a large number of delegates without being a party insider. All he had to do was show up and care. He did neither. This is either a result of ignorance, indifference, or entitlement. Regardless of the reason, this should be a flashing red light that your chosen candidate isn't what's being advertised.
Instead of demonizing Ted or the party over a system that has been in place for decades, or in some cases more than 100 years, you should be questioning your candidate as to why he chooses to whine and hurl baseless accusations when he didn't even bother showing up. Like Trump said about the primary process: Dont forget, I only complain about the ones where we have difficulty.
You sure love to throw names about don't you? Is this the best you can come up with? Logical arguments and reasoning don't appear to be in your wheel house.
By the way, the analogy was spot on.
Oh please spare me. I have been poll watcher, worked the booth at fairground when no one else showed. Worked headquarters, manned phone banks for weeks, walked neighborhoods, typed hundred of pages of voter lists at my home till all hours. Sell it somewhere else. You have no idea. You can keep your advice.
Count me in the “analogy sucks” column. It was terrible.
I don’t do crowds anymore. You should get hundreds of takers for your revolution or whatever it is you are hoping for in Cleveland.
