Cleveland, we have a problem. A 'Yuuge' problem! 700 angry truckers (and growing) are watching the political developments in the US very closely and are preparing to act. The leader of the group, who asked to be unnamed, warned "If the leaders of the Republican party plan on defying the will of the voters, we feel that that's an act of treason. And I can promise you that they will see an epic traffic jam in Cleveland." He continued, "And guess what, that'll be the least of their worries!"
The spox [spokesperson] was referring to the brokered convetion the GoPe's been planning. When asked if this was about frontrunner Donald Trump, the spox said, "This is about what's right. If your daughter in high school won the class president election by 35%, and the principal decided to give the role to the 2nd place finisher - or worse, to someone who didn't even run, how would you feel? It's not right. It's pure corruption and we're not gonna let it happen. If they try, there's gonna be hell to pay."
The group said that based on the number of truckers joining the movement, they'll be well over 5,000 strong in a few months. They added that they were inspired by Chris Cox and how his Bikers For Trump were defending their candidate from violent protestors at his rallies. - tfg
It's close enough...
Paul Ryan.
It will be flash mobs on twitter. Stay tuned.
I'm willing to contribute $1 for every trucker over the expected 5,000 to a charity if someone is willing to pay me $1 for every trucker under the 5,000 predicted..........
All kidding aside, while it's a nice story, I don't think it's going to happen........
Canadian illegal alien Ted Cruz is going to be the most hated person in America.
He richly deserves it.
Yes. Cruz will be a very hated man by a lot more Americans.
I don’t think he will even finish out his term as a senator.
So much for the anointed one and priesthood rising nonsense.
That 2nd picture u posted, the guy who painted his tractor trailer with Trump, is real. My local news had him on about a month ago because he made a stop in my area, northeast PA. He said he has been traveling the country, going to Trump rallies and attracts a lot of attention.
So I can see this happening. ..I mean the guy just up and decided to paint his whole truck for Trump and travel around...that’s some dedication there.
Or you can count on the support of the people...The states that have caucuses or conventions don’t have a popular vote, they have officials appointed by the establishment who will vote for whomever they tell them to. Like Colorado and North Dakota...so it’s not like the entire country has their say.
The boaters could make a statement anyway, on the Cuyahoga River or Lake Erie. They can’t float to the Convention Center, but they can get close.
I thought it was a pretty good analogy. What do you suggest?
I’m agreed.
Not to worry, I plan on bringing a healthy supply of each along with some good, sturdy rope! See you in Cleveland!!!
How about that, Mark Levin, you idiot.
That’s cute. (It’s a Raccoon, but it’s still cute.)
Um big am addict. With all due respect u have a better chance of seeing God that manufacturing coming back to US... The only possibility of that happening is Trump as president !
I’m am very pleased at all of you truck drivers stepping up to the plate, while most everyone sits around bitching and not doing anything.
All:
Pretty sure the ‘newspaper article’ was satire, but it still made for a fun thread.
As someone pointed out, the third photo (the one with the Trump art on the trailer) is real.
Who knows... the bikers have organized - perhaps a few dozen/hundred truckers could do the same.
Please do not post any hoaxes or urban legends again. Never post bogus “articles” without including disclaimers in the title, as we had to add to your title. Also do not post any such garbage in our News forum again.
Thank you.
When I posted it, I didn't know if it was authentic or satire or hoax, etc. I tried to cross-reference it, but was unable to confirm. Not knowing whether the story was too new to be sourced in multiple places on the internet, or if it was satire, hoax, etc., I stated in my post #1 that it should be taken with a grain of salt until such time as it could be verified.
Many hours later, when I got back to the thread, and it was clear by others' research that it was satire/hoax, I posted as such in my post #76.
I'm not sure why you removed my post #1, in which I said I was not sure whether it was real or not, and that it should be taken with a grain of salt until it could be verified. Removing my post #1 makes it appear that I intentionally posted a hoax -- which I did not.
Looks like it was proven to be hoax. Still, it wouldn’t surprise me.
Period, end of discussion.
