One customer received an unexpected comment on their Starbucks coffee cup label.
When an order for a a grande cup of white chocolate mocha came with the message,

When others aren’t laughing it ain’t a joke
Not funny and not a joke
I’ve seen the lines at these drive though coffee shops. I just shake my head at the addicts. Want to see the liberals and conservatives united in declaring war on foreign nations? Let those foreign nations that produce coffee beans place an embargo of all of their product to the USA.
(I don’t drink the stuff, but my wife does, though she can get by without it. Many of my truck driving friends couldn’t function without coffee.)
Good idea.
“Charging me $7 for a cup of sugary caffeine is insulting.”
Yes it is insulting, you weren’t actually silly enough to pay that were you?
I don’t need an editorial on my coffee cup , just give me a coffee.
What is it that people love about Starbucks? The ONLY time I ever went to a Starbucks was when the boss had a meeting there. IF they espoused Christian values, I still wouldn’t go there. They charge WAY TOO MUCH for their products! Personally, I prefer Tim Horton’s. AFA coffee, I prefer McDonald’s coffee of all three. McDonald’s also offer free refills; even better!
In the mornings, before starting my bus run, I refill my 20oz thermos mug for $1.00 plus tax from 7/11. They have a reasonable selection of coffees and a large selection of ‘poisons’ to doctor it with, so it works for me!
Made me look, 500.

Only 500?
:-) lol
Hey maybe the guy’s diet is only four a day!
Well maybe if he has such a close family history of diabetes he should be more careful what he ingests. Star*ucks is just doing a public service here with a health warning. What the hell happened, in the America I grew up in, the Bill of Rights didn’t include the not to offended.
I would also manage to trip and spill it all over the counter. Oops.
And this is the kind of “logic” that is used to ban sodas over 16 oz, pass sugar taxes, etc...
Slippery slope.
I am diabetic and would not have been offended. I also would not order such a drink. The only people who should be upset are the Starbucks people, because the employee should not be pointing out the sugar content of their desserts that masquerade as coffees.
LOL! Ain’t that the truth! We live in an age where something written on a coffee cup is newsworthy and traumatic. People have little sense of humor and no knowledge of history.
I like the “use a separate sheet if necessary” line.
Only the sensitive ones.
“I prefer McDonalds coffee of all three. McDonalds also offer free refills; even better!”
I like theirs best too. Seattles best also has a better taste. Starbucks just burns it. I suspect its to cover up bad coffee. I try to like it and just can’t.
“When others arent laughing it aint a joke”
I laughed. It is officially a joke. In fact, now I’m laughing at you too. The more stern you get, the more I will snicker.
Damn autocorrect. I meant to type “Diocletian, here I come!”
