CONCORD, N.C. A man says he was arrested Tuesday for failing to return a VHS tape that he rented in 2002.
James Meyers said he was driving his daughter to school when a police officer pulled him over for a defective tail light. The officer ran Meyers' driver's license then asked him to step out of the vehicle.
He said the officer told him there was a warrant out for his arrest from 2002 because Meyers had rented the movie "Freddy Got Fingered" and had not returned it.

There’s a statute of limitations on a rape charge, but not this?
America is so damned weird now.

It could have been worse.
Imagine if the move was “Hot Boys on Parade” or some such ilk.

The warrant was from 2002, warrants do not expire from my understanding.
