On the 11th daughter Mary headed out with me all set for the day.
I made a latrine run, got back in bed, fell asleep, and at some point my oxygen cannula detached.
Mary started getting weird phone calls about mid afternoon, came home and I was having big time problems.
At any rate, no evident brain damage (it never has been), but I feel pressure washed, too many drugs, too many needles, too much hospital food (I am eating salty stuff to catch up as I write)
I'm gonna hang in the background for a few, but I'm home.
Welcome back, Swampy! I wouldn’t worry about brain damage - I’ve found mine behaves better if I slap it around a little from time to time. Just gotta show it who’s boss... ;-)
But watch it with the instant coffee... I’ve poured out too many crystals into a shake and turned into a jabbering Rhesus.
Wow, sounds like you need a good rest. Take good care of yourself and get well soon!
So glad you are back! We need to remember the Creator and the fact that He feeds the sparrows and made the flowers but loves us so much more! Praying you get out to shoot soon.
Glad you are back!
Welcome back! You were missed! Glad to hear you’re back in the saddle again!
Don’t go and think we are gonna take it easy on ya. Go ahead say something....anything. Ill say the opposite just to argue with ya!
Welcome home
Good on ya. Get better.
Somebody’s taking care of you brother, lol. I’m addicted to the Sea Salt Grinder and Peppercorn Medley Grinders. My spicy navy bean recipe should bring you back to life. Cayenne Pepper is a lifesaver.
Here’s my Spicy Navy Bean recipe:
I scrub, rinse several times, and then soak 2 cups navy beans with fresh water overnight.
In the crockpot with water 2” over beans for 5 1/2 hours on high:
3 ounces of vegetable oil (Smart Balance Omega) Heart healthy
2 small okra (cut up)
3 small green onions (cut up)
7 or 8 small dried whole red pepper pods (Hot) Cayenne
1/4 teaspoon Mexican chili powder (just for the beautiful golden color) Don’t scrimp on this, the magic ingredient
1 teaspoon seasoning salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper
After in the bowl I give it a couple twist of a Peppercorn Medley Grinder
Glad to hear it!
It’s been a hell of a year for life-changing/threatening events.
Glad you made it through. We don’t need more names on the wall.
Actually, I was referring just to “getting old”, in general. ;-P
I'm gonna send you some home-made ricotta and pistachio-filled cannulas....oh, wait.....
(...be well, lol).
Leni
Good to have you back...some of us were wondering and hoping it wasn’t anything bad...
I came really close to toes up, no fun!
Prayers for you Sniper.
Hope you are back to your photo taking ways real soon.
well that was scary... yes. Hospitals are the pits for the most part.. I have found ONE that I can say I like. The Oklahoma City Heart Hospital.
Take care of yourself and God Bless
