There is no way Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz will team up on the same ticket in the November general election, according to Glenn Beck.
After voicing his frustration over the fact that John Kasich is still in the running for the partys nomination, Beck concluded that the Ohio governor, who appears poised to win his home state Tuesday, is hoping to be tapped as Trumps vice president.
"I think he wants the vice presidency so badly, Beck said Tuesday on The Glenn Beck Radio Program. I told you from the beginning. Hes not running for president. Hes running for vice president. I think he wants this so badly that he will run with Donald Trump.
However, the conservative radio show host made it clear that Cruz does not share those same supposed aspirations. While Beck has not discussed with Cruz the possibility of a Trump-Cruz alliance, he says the Texas senators wife, Heidi, insists that there is not a chance.
Believe me, I know Ted, Beck said. I have not asked this of Ted, I have asked this of Heidi, Would Ted Cruz run as the running mate? Because thats what everybody says, You should be a running mate.
Though he didnt offer many details, according to Beck, Cruzs wife quickly shot down the suggestion.
Not a chance, Beck said. Some day when I write a book, Ill tell you what Heidi said.
Theres a book conversation that we will have many years down the road. After the second term of the Cruz administration, I will tell you what Heidi said. But not a chance that happens.
the fusion of autism and hucksterism. pathetic
***** Andrew Breitbart once called Beck a snake. He simply is not a liked or likable man. *****
I agree, my friend. Many years ago I was a Beck subscriber so I could listen to him on my computer when I got home from work. That lasted 1 year but never renewed after that.
Beck has psychoed out. On the Blaze, every article about Trump is bad. It’s like reading articles about Republicans on Yahoo. Always a negative slant.
Bush 1 called Reagans economic plan voodoo economics but still got the VP nod.
Plus the VP is a step into being the next President and Cruz is young enough to wait.
Found an interesting article on Beck...If the article is to b e believed, he is not very well liked by his employees.
Apparently, Trump should offer the VP spot to Heidi. Looks like she wears the pants in that family.
I ALWAYS thought that was so ridiculous. Beck is about as enlightening as a 50 IQ and entertaining as a compound fracture. What an ego to STATE, to CALL YOURSELF, entertaining and enlightening, on the front end. Egomaniac with an inferiority complex.
And that HAT. Who told him that was a good look. On anybody, much less him. Maybe a hip 20-something, I dunno. But not on a grown man unless he’s Bozo the Clown.
I get the idea that he does product placement for his own clothing company’s clothes by wearing them himself in public.
This really is not new news. Anyone who understands what is happening, knows Cruz will not risk tarnishing his reputation by being Trump’s VP (shudder). It will never happen, thank goodness.
This must be your first election and/or your not familiar with or don’t remember elections past. Trump and Carson made up. Anything is possible. Who knows what the future holds. It’s about the art of the deal. ;)
Not to mention 50+ GOPE Senators who hate him for exposing them.
I want Cruz nowhere near the vice presidency. Or SCOTUS.
I did not look at the date lines on the previous replies and didn’t realize that this was like from March
