As things stand, Donald Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee. That’s awful news, and depressing to contemplate. But terrible possibilities don’t become less terrible if we refuse to contemplate them. Rather, they become more likely.
If the two factions — which make up the overwhelming majority of Republican voters — could be unified, it might be enough to stop Trump.
What would the deal look like? A Rubio–Cruz ticket. Cruz won’t work at the top of the ticket for the simple reason that too many GOP quislings fear Cruz more than Trump. But a unity ticket — a la Reagan–Bush in 1980 — in the form of Los Hermanos Cubanos might just do the trick. There are real costs to such a deal (not least the fact that there are better general-election running mates for Rubio).

LOL! I have been saying this forever. Neither Cruz or Rubio are natural born citizens as required by the Constitution. Neither of them had both parents as citizens at the time of their birth.
Natural Born is not a hard concept to understand. If you are born at sea on a cruise ship and both of your parents are U.S. citizens then you are a "natural born" citizen of the U.S. Why is this so difficult to understand?

The loan from Citigroup was not on a brokerage account. It appears to be an unsecured signature loan which is illegal under Federal Election Laws.
Ted Cruz was put in this race to draw the “true conservatives” so that JEB! could “win without the base.” Why do you think that the JEB! finance people are now with Ted?
Ted was instrumental in getting George W. Bush elected through his work in the Florida recount. Ted worked in the Bush Department of Commerce for the Federal Trade Commission. Ted Cruz worked as John A. Boehner’s lawyer! Heidi Cruz worked for Condoleezza Rice, and was a signing contributor to the CFR North American Union proposal. Ted and Heidi met when they were both working on the George W. Bush Presidential Campaign. How much evidence do you need to realize that Ted is a Tool of the Bushes?
The NWO crowd owns Ted Cruz. How many “stop Cruz” campaigns have they mounted? The NWO crowd does not own Donald Trump. Close to all of his properties are owned outright without mortgage. His net worth ($ billions) greatly exceeds his outstanding loans ($ millions).

The problem with that is that Obama is and was not a Natural Born citizen of the U.S. as required by the Constitution either. Do you really think they would want to bring up that again?
BTW, as much as I like Cruz and dislike Trump for all the stupid things he says and the way he says them, I must in good conscience support Trump since he is the ONLY viable candidate that can win and is also a NB citizen.

The two of them simply hold a press conference where they announce that their strategy the entire time was meant to lead to their Trump/Cruz ticket if it worked out.
That all of the name calling and attacks were a political gambit which, in essence, did a rope a dope on the other candidates, the MSM< and the GOPe.
