On Sunday Donald Trump went on CNN and was asked once again about David Dukes endorsement. Trump told Jake Tapper he didnt know anything about David Duke or white supremacy.
This sent shock waves across the liberal media and GOP establishment circles.
You think Fred would fail computer logic, Laz?
I do. :)
Join the club. The Trumpists are real good at name-calling (troll, idiot, etc.) anyone that isn’t a fellow Trumpist. Forget the fact that we’re all (supposedly) on the same side against the Democrats. It’s starting to smell a lot like a leftist covert op campaign around here.
Of course, his dander would be right at 11 if I inferred something about him.....
Lol....why is Trump hiding his?
I guarantee you that Trump is hiding more than any of the other candidates combined. How’s that for ‘speculation’?
That’s what I thought. Mrs. LS disagrees with me. She said she’d take a meeting with Chuck You just to see what he says. I said I wouldn’t. There’s nothing he can say that would interest me except, “I quit.”
But Hannity listed his closed border bona fides for 10 minutes, at least.
Bingo! He knows it's coming.
You claim to know nothing about inferring a point, right?
Never did one. Moderator stuck that on my post. I hope you actually read my post you responded to. You are really in a minority and do not see it. Hill fights like a lefty just like Trump and will have the MSM carpet bombing. He will never be prez.
When you discover that EVERYTHING you think Trump "stands for" is negotiable, you'll simply change your beliefs on command. As you have with single-payer, Israel, Planned Parenthood, Iraq, ...
But that's OK! Because El Supremo has done at least one 180° on all of those as well. And The Whirligig isn't done spinning by any means.
When he nominates his fully NARAL-approved sister to the Supreme Court, I'm sure you'll be calling any Republican who opposes her a member of the "GOP-e."
Apparently, you’re not familiar with the meaning of “verbatim.”
And that's just in English, Fred. LOL! :)
Some of the Cruz people are so drunk on hatred of Trump that their minds refuse to work, Williams.
why do assume disagreement is hatred? thats how the left operates...equate disagreement with hate
However, I'm going on the following premises:
Ahhhh who am I kidding, you'll just call me a "Trumpanzee" or something.
Verbatim means what it means. It doesn't mean "kinda" or "insinuating." Words have meanings. If TheDonald® tells you tomorrow that "verbatim" means "not at all present in the line you quoted" you may take that to be true.
But that won't make it true.
Now as for inferences ... you didn't write that you made an inference. You said. "Full, absolute insinuation!!! (arbitrary number of Trumptastic exclamation points added for extra truthiness.)" An insinuation is not an inference. Limbaugh is responsible for his insinuations. He isn't responsible for your inferences.
And given how thin-skinned your Messiah is, I'm not surprised his supporters share the shortcoming. Nor am I surprised that anything short of absolute retch-inducing fawning is inferred as an insult.
So, Laz - does Trump have a sister named "Diane Sykes" or "Bill Pryor"?
Like I said, if any facts ever manage to penetrate the Skull of Impermeability, there's a very real danger of an explosive Reality Feedback Loop...
Nah-Nah-Nah! Nah-Nah-Nah-boo-boo!
Then Rush was joking?
But see, the thing is, in order to lay claim to the meaning of a word, you need to know what it means.
Verbatim doesn't mean "I inferred something" in a quote that was not actually there. It means: literally present.
Now, do you know what literally means?
To put it bluntly, Cruz has failed to do so, and that is his fault, not Trump's. It's also a tribute to Trump's neophyte skills. Trump put the emphasis in several areas where it was needed, and it resonated with the People in a much more profound way than did Cruz's somewhat esoteric assurances about protecting the Constitution.
Obviously, the Constitution needs to be protected and reaffirmed, but this time around, issues are first and foremost.
IMHO, Ted Cruz just misjudged the priorities of the public somewhat, and placed his emphasis differently.
It seems like Donald Trump, from the very beginning, had his hand directly on the pulse of the American electorate. His political instincts were very sharp, and thus he's been able to seize the initiative and maintain it. He's getting stronger and stronger, and hopefully wiser as well.
If I were Donald Trump, I'd imeediately hire Cruz (as soon as he drops out) to be an advisor regarding Constitutional issues. It's an area of weakness which Trump needs major improvement in.
I wish both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump well, and let the chips fall where they may.
The hand-wringing about Trump being a charlatan or a tyrant, is, IMHO, such a gross exaggeration that it's either disingenuous tactic, or else abject, hysterical fear.
And if Ted Cruz really thinks Marco Rubio would be preferable to Donald Trump as President, I will lose an enormous amount of respect for him...
