I've come to this site every day since Ted Cruz became a national political figure. Perhaps I'm just getting old with a failing memory but I can't recall any derogatory posts about Cruz until Donald Trump began his ad hominem attacks on him. I don't remember Freepers attacking him as he built a record in the senate.
Can someone direct me to the threads and posts by the Freepers who now hate Cruz that were made prior to September of last year?
Exactly. Mostly lurker here for a long time. I despise people here who call Cruz a liar and Kiss The Donald’s posterior. I appreciate a lot of what Trump has done. His turn on Cruz is a huge turn off. So much intellectual dishonesty on FR. Turns my stomach.
When they got sucked into the Trump vortex, go Cruz.

BTW, I actually don’t have a serious issue with Cruz (other than his eligibility) and would swim across the Great Lakes to vote for him if he’s the nominee. He is, quite possibly, the most skilled debater and refuter of leftism to ever run for POTUS. Unlike you Trump bashers who would stay home in a snit if Trump is nominated.
I have said I support Cruz as my second choice. Trump is my first choice.
There are actions of Cruz I disagree with and still do. His support for the Corker Bill and increase in HB-1 visas are just two. I don’t attack Cruz personally but believe he is not the best candidate. I detest the attacks on Cruz by Trump supporters and attacks on Trump by Cruz supporters. I detest personal attacks on other freepers most of all.
One can have civil disagreements, even strong ones. Make one’s arguments and may the best man win.

Cruz has a “truth” problem.
Regarding the Carson issue, I think it shows Cruz has a weak staff. Perhaps they are too eager or just stupid. Cruz could and should do better than that.
