In spite of fears to the contary. I thought Lady Gaga not only looked respecable, but she sang the National Anthem with respect.

Not a fan, but holy cow. Great job.
Ditto. I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m not surprised....
...she has a beautifully trained voice.....
When she’s not being weird, she is so worth listening to.

I was kinda expecting the Rosann Barr version.
I thought she is a very talented signer.

I agree.
Lady Gaga was good!
She needs to change her political orientation. Has she tried aversion therapy?

Watch her YouTube videos sing American standards with Tony Bennet...absolutely amazing singer when she wants to be. And she can wear the hell out of clothes!

That was Lady GaGa?
It was gag gag. She made it all about her and her rendition left much to be desired.

My mom liked it, and so did I. (I still listen to the Whitney Houston version every now and then. Wonderful rendition)

Very nice. Thank goodness she didn’t try to butcher it. Not looking forward to half time and Beyonce though.

Her politics aside, I’ve seen her in some interviews and she seems quite the decent person, for an entertainer. She did a great job today.

No doubt Whitney Houston wins over all above others who sang the National Anthem. I am no fan of Lady Gaga, but she would come in second.
With Whitney’s there was something so spiritual and so much emotion she put into singing the song. Unlike Lady Gaga, yes she sang it beautiful and respectfully but didn’t have the energy like Whitney had.

I thought she might.
Politics aside I think she’s rather bright. I saw her in an interview back in the early days explaining that she shocks because it was what sells. She explained that her audience would grow up and she must grow with them.

I don’t care much for her music but kudos to her she did an awesome beautiful job!! She comes in second place behind Whitney Houston!

I loved the heart - the duende - that she put into it.

If you catch the YouTube video with her right after her performance today, she says that was her favorite too, and that she’d sing along as a little girl, and her dad would say “You’re getting pretty good, kid”. Lifelong dream fulfilled to sing the anthem at the superbowl.
