"I don't believe I have been given any credit by the voters for self-funding my campaign, the only one. I will keep doing, but not worth it!" @realDonaldTrump
I wholeheartedly agree with you. Trump does indeed need to exercise better twitter judgement.
However, when you look at the iowa mailer, the carson lie, and the gloating 40 min speech last night. Cruz has zero social awareness. Thats gonna
hurt him way more than some ill advised trump tweets.
If it’s ‘not worth it’ then get the eff out Donald!
Haven’t rooted for any sports team since 1965 or there abouts - so I haven’t the foggiest.
The way I see it, Cruz supporters have followed their candidate right down that yellow brick road he's been following. And we know what happens when that's how they get to Oz.
Hate for the Voters is the way I am taking it as well, they just appreciate his grandeur it seems. The man is loosing it, he better take a Prozac, or someone should take that phone away from him, but woe to the person who tries.
Ooops Cancel that. Just saw the tweet. Digging. . .
(thanks to Glenn Beck’s fraudulent tweet a couple of weeks ago)
Hardly. They all have personal skin in the game here... financially or otherwise. Putting yourself out there in the political process isn't a differentiator. And by the way... Trump brags about how little he's had to spend to get the support he's gotten. I commend him for it but it's hardly putting his family's financial future in jeopardy.
Frankly, while it would be a feather in his hat to become president he is putting his money where his mouth is, not someone elseâs and he is not beholding to anyone.
True... but he's hardly a political outsider when he is one of the ones the establishment has been beholden to.
Consider something... why would a guy like Bloomberg want to be major of NY? Power. He already has wealth and prestige... the political position is power. In my opinion, Donald Trump is much the same. He is saying what many of us want to hear but in the end it could just be a billionaire's game.
I don’t know but if he is saying Iowa is not worth it, I have to agree. I have never understood why a state that is likely to vote ‘rat in November has such a big part in picking the republican nominee. I would like to see a state that votes reliably republican in the general get all the attention that Iowa gets.
I agree. I'm not one of Trump's backers, but I really liked his speech last night. He was magnanimous and brief.. and I think the audience appreciated his comment about coming back and buying a farm there.
YES.....
I think Trump just really wants to win. He said before, unless he wins this will have been a waste of time...and obviously, money. Go Trump! Sometimes more is less....he knows this, and I mean that he does not have to win every state, especially that strange, strange Iowa thing.
Who are they sold out to? Guys like Trump. He is very open about supporting both sides of the establishment. If this election is a referendum on the establishment, why elect the establishment's moneyman?
he’s not spending half a billion. not a chance.
dont think he should. and he wont.
I would not call myself a supporter, other than my appreciation for how he handles the press...
but I can understand perfectly what he meant.
What he was saying was He doesn’t want to self fund if all that money will potentially be for nothing.
He is not used to losing... He doesn’t like to invest in lost causes.
He was also saying “WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED OUT THERE???” “Did you all stay home or something???”
He doesn’t understand how the polls could have been so wrong.
He forgets that a caucus is not like many other primaries where representatives (not end game voters) are the ones pulling the levers.
His stumping in Iowa was targeted to the voters... not the delegates, and he got “Trumped” by the machine and still doesn’t get it.
Thats what he was really saying in his tweet... “I don’t get it!... What happened?”
He may be the only one rich enough to self fund his campaign, so why should he get credit for that?
That’s what I say. If America loses all moral fiber what good is a wall? The people born inside will become like the people outside. Heck, things could eventually become so bad the wall ends up being used to keep people here from fleeing. You never know, truth is stranger than fiction.
he is not bloomberg.
hr will NEVER EVER spend half a billion on the presidency.
if he does, i’ll donate 400 dollars to FR on top of my monthly.
