The truth of the reason for the ban is that “they” were worried about the effects of saving a million lives a year in the third world.

The fast growing populations would create competition for the resources of those countries, which “we” wanted to maintain access to.

My Dad said that during war the army dusted everything with ddt, bedding, tents etc. My father passed away a few years ago at the age of ninety-two. Obviously it did him no harm.
