I think most Republicans would not vote for Bloomberg for his soda regulations he tried to get through, the salt nonsense, and other nanny state regulations on our food. Not to mention the continued practice that the First Lady did on school lunches. Bloomberg would go into overdrive on that crap. So I think the votes he would get would be from Vegans, big government types and that is about it. I think it would guarantee a Trump win so I welcome him into the run.

Bloomberg $35 billion. Trump $4 billion (according to Forbes).

Actually, I think Bloomberg should jump into the Democratic Primary.

Haven’t the time limit to get on the ballot elapsed in all but a few states? How could he run?

I know there are skeptics but I don’t think the Democrats are just going to roll over and let Trump be elected.

Bloomberg is a real threat to Trump in a 3 way race between either Clinton or Sanders. Cruz would fare much worse.

A Bloomberg taking a wild card entry as an independent would spell trouble for the GOP.

It’s already too late for him to get on the ballots in many states. I guess he just likes to waste his money.

The only good thing about this would be Bloomberg would have less to spend on his silly gun control ideas!

“Wow. I didnt know that. With our current elected gopE reps, thats a very disturbing post.”

Yeah, this has occurred only one, the election of 1800. Wikipedia does a good job of explaining what happen if interested. Btw, I didn’t know about this either till I heard George Will mention it yesterday. I “think” but not sure that the GOP controls more state legislatures than the Dum’s. So, this scenario might work to GOP advantage.
