Our Founders didn't have constitutional means to right the wrongs of George III. They were forced to make horrible war.

We are not, IF we exercise the peaceful means the Framers bequeathed. Our job is much easier than theirs, for the solution to the concentration of power in DC is to distribute it as per the Framers design.

We could get the Constitution back one day. Electing someone like Ted Cruz would be a start. But even that is no assurance. We'll need to raise up a generation - like the one that produced the Constitution - to rise to rebellion and overthrow a judicial tyranny supported by the political elite.

We will get the Constitution back, or we will get some exceptionally ugly consequences. I'm hoping the petty tyrants on the left will permit this peaceably, but they will permit us to restore the rule of law, one way or the other. I'm also hoping that either Cruz or Trump will actually deliver on that potential. If not, and quickly, it's time to make final preparations for other options.

Once we restore the rule of law, we need to remind decent people that teaching civics and the value of freedom to the next generation is their most important responsibility. We can never again allow America's enemies to control that aspect of education.

You can’t get the Constitution back by subverting it so that Cruz can be elected. To elect Cruz you have to side with Ginsburg’s side of the court who believes her grandson born in France is an NBC instead of Scalia who has indicated he thinks it might require Jus Soli.

This is what makes the debate over the meaning of natural-born citizen so hilarious. The Constitution is dead. The left killed it over the course of half a century, going back to the 1962 school-prayer decision. And we're running around in circles trying to decipher a phrase which will probably never be defined, definitively.

This is a game conservatives can't win.


Great point in the article. A lot of conservatives don't want to win. They want to sit on their moral high horse and whine about things.

Thank you for referencing that article massmike. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

The Oval Office is not the most constitutionally powerful office in the land like the corrupt media wants everybody to think. Noting that Congress has the constitutional authority to not only override presidential vetoes (1.7.2), but also to impeach and remove bad-apple presidents and justices from office, Congress is the most powerful office in the land.

And unless patriots elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, then it is only a matter of time before corrupt Congress once again lets a lawless president destroy the constitutional republic with unconstitutional executive orders.
