Trump is starting to smell like a Clinton decoy to me!
Posted on 01/07/2016 10:27:25 AM PST by Cats Pajamas
Just seems more and more to me that he is running interference for Bill and Hill. I am getting closer and closer to crossing Trump of my list.

Right, lose 300 million a year or more not because you love your country and want to give back, it is for Hillary?
Who would buy that?

I know I will not convince you, but the head to head at this point is meaningless. Logic will tell you that you can't be tied with Jeb in NH at 10% and still beat the front runner. What it tells you is that everybody has their favorite pic at this point and is not going to automatically go for the front runner as their second pic. It just doesn't happen that way.
Watch as the field shortens. How much will go to Cruz. In fact, after Cruz wins IA, really look and see what he pics up going into NH. From early December to January Cruz has dropped in NH while Trump has gained. And again, where in the world is Cruz's strength in his home state. He should be up by greater than 10 points.

“Logic will tell you that you can’t be tied with Jeb in NH at 10% and still beat the front runner.”
Why not? George W. Bush lost NH in 2000 and won the nomination. Bob Dole lost NH in 96 and won the nomination. The NH primary is relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of a primary race, especially since it is sandwiched between two more important primaries.

Trump has been the only one, and I do mean ONLY, Republican who is attacking Hillary.
Trump is playing defense. He is adopting a defensive strategy.
Defense is a losers' game. Its only utility is to prevent advancement of the opposition.
Do you actually read what you write?
Sun Tzu's — Art of War "Attack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack." It would be hard to find a better epitome of the root principle of war.

I think Cruz is just being himself: a conman. He’s feels like he’s done everything but become president, and he’ll say whatever it takes to get people to vote for him. We’re told everyday on FR that he does whatever it takes to get what he wants. For some, that all ended when he started running for president and now he’s sincere. For the rest of us, we’ve been had too many times, finally have a conservative alternative, and are ridiculed by so-called conservatives because we’re staying out of their Cruzgasm.
Fun game isn’t it...and anyone can play.

Looking briefly over your posting history I noticed you have had nothing positive to say about any of the republican candidates. So, who is your candidate, who are you supporting?Good catch, so Cats Pj's is the smelly Clinton decoy! Figures Democrats are so sneaky and smelly.

Everyone running either has, or has crafted a brand. How well it's known and how well it's used is what counts.
Obama made his wacky logo known around the world in a matter of weeks. The minute it appeared on his campaign plane it became instantly cool to pass it around on social media where people could show their friends that they were on board first.

Oops - hit the wrong button.
The other thing I was going to say is that Trump has numerous flaws that he's keeping somewhat hidden by always bringing up something new, or simply taking control by stepping out of the political paradigms that the establishment consultants are getting paid plenty to employ.
This small effort with the handout cards is huge in terms of accomplishment compared to money spent.
He's not my guy. But, once again, he's "Trumped" them all.

Every Republican candidate except Trump has stated publicly that he or she thinks Hillary should be in jail.
No, wait...

Thank you profusely for that cogent, incisive, involved,
detailed, trenchant analysis. One reads it and concludes:
But of course! It must be so!

Six months ago I wondered the same thing. Not now. Not by a long shot. Trump is doing more to to put the brakes on the Clinton machine in 4 weeks than the entire Reoublican establishment has over the past decade.

The Iowa caucus determines who will not be the nominee.
To: Boogieman
I was referencing only NH. If Cruz is at 10% in that state he is not going to do better against Hillary in that state.

Please, please PLEASE don't cross him off your list!!!! Just give us some time to contact him and let him know how you're feeling. I'm sure he wants to make this right with you, and regrets anything he did to make you feel that way. Please, just give poor Donald a second chance. He really wants to please you, and would do anything for you to give him a second chance. If you just got to know him, you'd know like I do deep down that he cares about what your mind comes up with and then which you believe, because your mind, he knows, is so accurate, so strong, so reliable. Just please, whatever you do, don't do that, don't
cross him off your list.Imagine what that means? Then he would still be on your list, but with a line through him.
