A gorilla who can speak sign language has appeared in a new video to raise awareness for climate change. Arguably the best known member of her species in the world, Koko is a female western lowland gorilla who over the last 44 years has shown just how similar humans are to our primate cousins.

If we were to believe all of this revised history and science we would believe that its never been hot or cold on this planet. We would ignore the last ICE AGE.
We would think that all Native Americans were peaceful hunter gatherers who never got into fights with anyone.
We would think that all animals are connected with Mother Earth and that all business people were Simon Lagree or Mr. Potter.
I am glad that I taught my children to think, to work, and to show up even when they did not feel like it. They are starting out near the top of the heap, instead of the lemmings that are in the world to today.
