Donald Trump may be a fierce debater and a brash critic who is always happy to speak his mind and then some, but there seems to be one place the presidential hopeful is more than happy to lay low - church.
Trump and his family attended the 10:30pm midnight mass service at Bethesda-By-The-Sea in West Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve, and the billionaire businessman somehow managed to avoid the massive number of photographers and members of the press waiting outside to document his arrival.
Instead he slipped inside unnoticed for the service, with the only photographs from the evening coming from some of his fellow churchgoers who uploaded them to social media.
*snip*
Trump's fellow midnight-mass attendees mostly just wrote on Twitter that they had spotted Trump at the service, with a few noting that they were checked by Secret Service members before entering the church.
His Secret Service detail may explain why he slipped in unnoticed as they likely coordinated his entrance to avoid any possible safety concerns for him and his family.

Gee.... I remember going to Church where 'mass' was being held. Especially on holidays like this. It's not like NON-CATHOLIC churches ban mass.
We are truly blessed to have a priest that has a magnificent voice and sings the entire Eucharist!
As Verger I was at both services and had a memorable day.
The church is Episcopal.
Midnight Mass , at last around here, on Christmas and even more so at Easter has many Protestants in attendance. They feel that their own churches are missing something and believe that Christmas and Easter should have some special notice and celebration.
‘’Itâs actually Episcopal.’’
“J.V. Catholic”, as my Episcopal friend jokingly told me. Presbyterian would be better, but at least it is isn’t a mosque. And at least he wasn’t going for the big photo op.
or he is just a very shrewd politician.
Honestly, I can live with either or both.
I just want the white house back.
‘’As it was for Slick Willie when he emerged from church, biting that lip for the photo op, preparing to go lie his butt off the next day in deposition’’
And, IIRC, one Easter Sunday he went directly from church, clutching his prop Bible, to be serviced by Ms. Lewinsky.
Unless communion is being served, then non Catholics are unworthy and unwelcome!
Last night Father asked all who were visiting to stand — we gave them a hand. Then it was all who were coming home from college, or wherever, to be with family — another round of applause. Then it was all graduates of the Parish school. More clapping. Then all who were married or took 1st Commumion, or Confirmation at our church. More applause.
Then, he asked for all who wanted snow, and one guy stood up. Everyone laughed!
We’re in Wisconsin.
That's good, and maybe it's the years adding grandeur, but the pre-vatican II High Midnight Mass is still something that sticks in your memory.
Felix Dies Nativitatis!
It’s good to note the SS is doing the job they are paid to do. There is little standing between this man and those who wish him ill. A cloak of invisibility would be the most useful gift under his tree this morning. Merry Christmas Mr. Trump and family. God has special plans for you and we pray daily to see them unfold as swiftly as possible.
come on. he knows the media follows his every move.
it’s a shrewd move.
know you’re going to be seen going to be seen by the media and trying to avoid them.
real or not, it’s great politics.
I can’t read his soul. I have enough trouble with my own.
and I want the white house.
The first step to becoming a Christian is repentance. Without asking for forgiveness, there is no way to get there. When Trump said he had never asked God for forgiveness, that was not a good moment.
‘’Do you think he has ever recited The Lord’s Prayer?’’
The Lord’s Prayer isn’t a prayer God expects Christians to say verbatim (vain repetition). It is a template or example of how a Christian should enter into prayer.
Do not disagree...
Many Protestants believe in the Grace of God. That he died for our sins and we have no need to ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness is just something we accept when we become a Christian. It’s believing in being “washed by the blood”
My 3 pm LCMs service was just as good love the midnight service but unfortunately not with a 2 year old....
Non sequitur. It is merely pointed out that attendance at a church service doesn’t necessarily mean anything as to what someone actually believes. We don’t know one way or other. Certainly, based on previous comments by trump, it seems more likely that it is mostly an empty ritual. But folks don’t know.
....Presstitute #1: “I sure as hell ain’t goin’ in there!” ....
A prestitute in church is a whore in church.
The word does not belong exclusivly to Roman Catholics;
