Donald Trump may be a fierce debater and a brash critic who is always happy to speak his mind and then some, but there seems to be one place the presidential hopeful is more than happy to lay low - church.
Trump and his family attended the 10:30pm midnight mass service at Bethesda-By-The-Sea in West Palm Beach, Florida on Christmas Eve, and the billionaire businessman somehow managed to avoid the massive number of photographers and members of the press waiting outside to document his arrival.
Instead he slipped inside unnoticed for the service, with the only photographs from the evening coming from some of his fellow churchgoers who uploaded them to social media.
*snip*
Trump's fellow midnight-mass attendees mostly just wrote on Twitter that they had spotted Trump at the service, with a few noting that they were checked by Secret Service members before entering the church.
His Secret Service detail may explain why he slipped in unnoticed as they likely coordinated his entrance to avoid any possible safety concerns for him and his family.

If it was any other candidate, they would have embedded a camera in their gut to watch the wafer slowly digest and enter their intestinal tract.
Unitarian would be preferable to his father’s religion.
Stop with your BS 0blama comparisons.
CRuz attended church services, as well.
So, there’s that. CRuz = 0bama.
See how that works?
Now, scram from trolling Trump threads.
GO TRUMP!
Blessings to the Trump family!
Merry Christmas :)
And my point is that going to Church in private with his family is an indication that Mr. Trump’s Christianity is real.
Or his step father’s, or ‘former’ muslim Jeremiah Wright’s.
Heh! A place of worship is alien territory for them. Probable conversation among the presstitues:
Presstitute #1: "Where the #$@% IS he?!"
Presstitute #2: [getting off phone]: "He's already in there!"
Presstitute #3: "WHAT?! How the #%@% did he get past us?!"
Presstitute #2: "He snuck in!"
Presstitute #1: "Dammit! Now what do we do?"
Presstitute #3: "Well, maybe we oughta go in?"
Presstitute #1: "GO IN?! TO...CHURCH?!"
Presstitute #2: "I ain't goin' in there!"
Presstitute #1: "I sure as hell ain't goin' in there!"
Eddie01, I like you! Agree 100%
Looks like the church in question is actually Episcopalian. The reporter and his editors are morns, so they used the word “mass” where it wasn’t applicable.
What we CAN know is that he sneaked in and didn't make a big production of it, carrying a king-size Bible and waving to the cameras.
So he acknowledges that he is not the most important one here. Perhaps it is just modesty, perhaps a nod to the proprieties, perhaps a recognition of his Lord.
But whichever, it's a good sign that the man has some humility.
It’s not, if you go to church but are you the church.
Yep - was a Piskie for many years. Attended a “high”, not to say ultramontane, parish, then a moderately high one. But this diocese is traditionally “low”, so high parishes are few and far between. Even fewer since GC 2003.
LOL!! ...and a bible cam.
Please take note, it is Christmas!
“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. “For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? “Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? “You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:1-5)
Blessings to ALL!
I was raised Pentecostal but used to go to midnight mass with hubby’s family. I always thought it was beautiful regardless of the religion.
Iirc wife was raised catholic
Do you think he has ever recited The Lord's Prayer ?
What we see as phonies, the American people often regard as statesmen.
