In what's more evidence that Donald Trump is becoming completely unhinged, he is now stooping so low as to label Tea Party favorite Ted Cruz "a bit of a maniac":
"I donât think heâs qualified to be president⦠I donât think he has the right temperament. I donât think heâs got the right judgment⦠You look at the way heâs dealt with the Senate, where he goes in there like a â you know, frankly like a little bit of a maniac. Youâre never going to get things done that way."
He added:
"Look, I built a phenomenal business. Iâm worth many, many billions of dollars. I have some of the greatest assets anywhere in the world. You canât walk into the Senate, and scream, and call people liars, and not be able to cajole and get along with people. Heâll never get anything done. And thatâs the problem with Ted."
It's rather fascinating that this is coming from the most bombastic and maniacal presidential candidate in history. Almost every single one of his proposals are downright outlandish, and he calls everyone who dares disagree with him "a loser" and worse. See how he smeared Dr. Ben Carson by calling him "pathological."
What's more, Trump's latest jabs at Cruz prove that he has no idea what real conservatives want. Cruz promised them to stand up for their values in Washington D.C., even if the establishment would hate him for it. That's exactly what he's done, and it's one of the main reasons that he's now so popular among Evangelicals, very conservative voters, and those who identify themselves with the Party.
If I was Cruz, I'd politely ask The Donald to attack me even more. After all, this will only end up helping, rather than hurting him.

Surely this is satire?
I support Trump 100% right up to the point where I am voting
for Cruz. Trump is doing a beautiful job of taking all the flak while destroying the MSM and confounding the GOPe.
Trump can attack Ted, it won’t hurt Ted. In fact it is very interesting. The MSM and GOPe are so desperate to derail Trump. What do they do? Create sympathy for a guy they also hate or do they praise Trump for attacking Cruz, their favorite bogeyman?
Just delicious if you ask me.
And what has trump done to warrant such lavish praise? Trump has given money to democrats in the name of “Playing the game”. If he had courage of his convictions he wouldn’t have given money to them to begin with. Playing the game is the path of cowards.
“...because of Ted we got the house and senate back.”
Stretching a just a bit, don’t you think. When Boehner resigned some posters rushed to give the credit to Cruz, but they failed to give Cruz the credit for the House choosing Boehner II. As Rush said, it was all pre-planned from the beginning.
The attack was measured to say the least. They will end up together.
Merry Christmas

If you can take the time to post your writings why don’t you take a little extra
time to clean up all the ââ¬â¢ that are in it? Makes it a lot more professional, imo.
Recent converts are what we need to fix America.
“Trustworthy, strong, confident, leader, and somebody in whom you can totally depend.”
Except when it comes to one of Obama’s favorites, the Corker bill.
Sessions had a hand in defeating the Gang of Eight bill, if not the major hand.
“He goes after Cruz, heâs losing one of his main points of appeal to me.”.......
Likewise. I am surprised that Trump did that or, perhaps the reporting was distorted (again).

Perhaps you should read a biography of Winston Churchill.
So Trump thinks Cruz has a temperament problem because he name-calls and alienates in the Senate. And the groupies will now nod their heads. I see elsewhere Trump is disagreeing with Scalia. Or, kind of disagreeing. “Kind of” is all he ever does on anything.
Trump is in no sense a conservative. He’s a rhetorical triangulator. Which means if he ever got elected to anything, he’d take up positions squarely in the mushy middle, after talking like a conservative early. It’s a recognizable pattern.
He’s a Democrat. If I’m going to vote for a Democrat, I’ll just go ahead and vote for Hillary.
Wake up and smell your own damned coffee. I stand by what I say. NO POLICY HERE. No substance. All gas, hot air.
Oh crap. I was hoping this wouldn’t happen. I had some wild fantasy that the two of them would become allies. Crap crap crap. As far as Trump’s comments re: Ben Carson - I do not have a problem with anything Trump said.
Trump never took your tax $$, and ALL the rest of the candidate did! And he’s running on his own $$ and time, while Cruz, Paul, Graham and Rubio IGNORE their jobs that YOU are paying for to ‘play the game’.
Trump sir, all [well by far a majority] of the Cruz supporters like you too. This tearing down Cruz wonât help you. Standing with Cruz will continue to help you. It has been one of the things keeping you up there IMO.
Maybe this is what Cruz has thought would happen. First, he gets Carsonâs voters then people shift from Trump to Cruz?
I dunno - I like them both. I kind of think they go together. Iâd take Trump/Cruz and be thrilled but not Trump/Rubio [hate it] or Trump/Kasich [I just threw up a little in my mouth].
If I could only have one it would be Cruz.
Flame away kids.
This was bound to happen eventually neither Trump or Cruz would be described as men having a small ego.
This is the way I’ve seen Trump’s business success:
Michael Medved, about 10 or so years ago, gave a teaser question before his break. It went like this, “When we come back, what if I told you of a completely legal business opportunity that you can do out of your garage that almost guarantees you’ll make a million a year, net. Would you do it.”
It was about asking what are you willing to do to get rich. I think of it because I look at what Trump started with and what he did to make it the billions that he did.
And though it is good to have a president with good business sense, it is not the most important attribute. When I look at his other attributes I am less than impressed. I really like almost everything he’s saying but I like what Mike Levine says too. It doesn’t mean I think he should be president. and when I look at trump’s position on most issues I don’t understand why he’s not running as a democrat.
BTW, that business out of your garage is internet porn.
Means Trump now sees Cruz as a big threat. Gives Cruz a chance to show who is more presidential, think Trump is making a mistake this time.
Trump questioning Cruz’s “methods and approach”. That’s rich.
Take your blinders off.
