OK there is a pretty good show on Bloomberg right now, it has a couple of guys each day, who are pretty reasonable about the campaign.
Today they reported that yesterday I think it was, Ted Cruz said in a closed meeting, some things critical of Donald Trump.
I haven't heard a peep from Donald about this, and I don't know whether he will say a word about it. But it seems that Ted Cruz is starting to stray hazardously close to becoming a target himself.

No Ted Cruz supporter should launch attacks against Donald Trump or Trump’s supporters. In like manner, no Donald Trump supporter should launch attacks against Ted Cruz or Ted Cruz’ supporters. Cruz and Trump refrain from attacking each other for good reason. Their supporters should try to understand this and model themselves after their candidate.
Let’s not take the bait that the mainstream media and the political establishments (both ‘RAT & GOPe) are trying to entice us with. Let’s be smarter than that. We’ve got the establishment by the shorthairs and the last thing we need to do in get distracted into conflict between the ONLY two constitutional conservatives in the race.
Well my advice to Ted is you are going to have to go after Trump because otherwise you are just going to finish a poor second or third. 10-20 pts behind just ain’t getting it.
Lemme see here. . fomenting conflicts between the
Republican candidates . . . surely the Democrats would
not do that . . . would they?
Saw that too. They were giddy. Think they are going to spark a big rowe.
Bump I agree, I do not want Jeb or Hillary.
Ted better be mindful of which dog has the big end of the bone.
Go, Donald “The Dobermann” Trump!
Has Bloomberg stopped beating his wife?
OK, this is it. you've put me over the edge.
I don't know if Ted Cruz criticized Trump or not, but so what if he did?
Are we now supposed to have election campaigns where the candidates may not criticize each other?
You have, as they say, "jumped the shark".
You're really no different than the little commies on college campi who demand complete loyalty to whatever they want.
Support Trump if you will -- there are some reasons to do so. But, please stop the witch-hunt against those who don't .
That's not what we should be working towards.
Washington politi-speak for “yes, I did.”
I don’t think he singled out Trump for any kind of criticism. Cruz is the ONLY candidate who has not attacked Trump. That includes Carson who has criticized Trump on more than one occasion, most recently on the Muslim ban comments.
Obviously, when he isn't reading children's books or talking lawyer stuff, he goes off the rails.
And Trump will verbally disembowel him.
GO DONALD, GO !
Tell THAT to the Cruzite trolls, who haunt every single Trump thread !
I think Cruz will be the Elite Republicans choice to save face, even though they think little of him. Cruz is Washington material that can perhaps be managed. Trump isn’t.
I respect your defense of Cruz. Perhaps you’re right. But Cruz has always made me uneasy by the way he seems to hang back and guage his audience before speaking out. Then he has a politician’s talent for seeming to say two things at once, just like this time.
Perhaps I may be forgiven for being so mistrustful. I’m fed to the gills with Washington politicians. That’s why I like Trump at this point in my voting life. He’s blunt, fearless, unapologetic and seems to totally stand for what he says, regardless.
Wow that makes perfect sense, in bizarro world, so when it comes down to just Cruz and Trump, or if you prefer Trump and Cruz, as it will, you are expecting Trump to say " you should vote for Cruz" or Cruz to say " you should vote for Trump? or maybe they will hold a joint press conference and say "hey there really isn't a tinker's damn of a difference between us so just flip a coin"?
They got Romney at a "PRIVATE MEETING", so ALL candidates should be aware, now, that "PRIVATE MEETINGS": aren't really all THAT "private" anymore.
Cruz was just on with Bloody Kelly and he used weasel words, yet again, about this. He should really stop playing word games and either admit what he said, or outright deny it. There are better ways to couch his feelings, than what he said and now doesn't say, but say.
Until now, I hadn't realized what a weasel Ted is. *sigh*
RIIGHT, and Trump has never weaseled out of what he said? Right now I’m not real committed, Trump or Cruz....or Cruz or Trump would be okay with me, but I’m not going to get all hot and bothered if they start throwing shots at each other, it’s inevitable.
Nobody cares; didums.
OH OUCH!
