I felt it. Was sitting in chair and it shook a couple of times. No one else felt it, but they were standing, this was near El Reno.

that’s pretty strong isn’t it, as I felt it and I was near El Reno at the time. No one else felt it around me.

As a Californian I can tell you that a 3.0 is not even a mouse fart... You’re fine, good night and sleep tight.

4.7. And as a Californian, lets see you live through 2-4 4+’s every week and get back to us.

My parents lived in Cali 30 years and have felt 5 times more in Kansas in 4 years.

Yeah we had a 7.9 on Guam last year.

Nobody died and the internet didn’t even go down.

In China that would have killed X number of milions

A 3.0 is a footnote, no bigger than a truck driving by, possible to notice if you’re paying attention but not worth mentioning except as a curiosity. A 4.7 is different. That’s the real thing. Still not terribly destructive but at least it feels like a real earthquake.

All earthquakes in Kansas and Oklahoma, last 30 days, 2.5+ magnitude, sorted by magnitude.

If you pan over to California, ours dwarfs theirs, and has for the last 3 years.

It's (4.7) still not very destructive

Doesn't that depend on whether structures were build to outlast an earthquake?

Even a poorly built brick/stone structure would stand through a 4.7. The only things that quake would take down are card houses and other structures that would come down the next time a truck drove by or a strong wind came through.
