Could this movie be made today? Mel Brooks doesn't think so..... Could the kids at our universities watch it without turning into quivering masses of protoplasam?
(Excerpt) Read more at freerepublic.com ...
Mel Brooks "History of the World, Part 1."
A bomb at the box office but very funny and breaks all sorts of PC taboos.
Available on DVD only from Netflix. Rated R of course.
I loved the Mouse that Roared....read the book first then saw the movie....early 70’s?
Jeb could have played the American President....
I enjoyed Dave Allen and “The Paul Hogan Show.” His Leo Wanker character (think Super Dave Osborne) was hilarious.
This is Chapelle at his best.
Reparations....”Hide the money y’all, there’s poor people around...ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha wit yo broke ass.”

Need to mention the Dean Martin roasts in here, especially the ones with Sammy Davis Jr.
Get watching those on youtube and the state of modern culture will really sink in. Fair warning, you’ve gotta get out before the mourning becomes permanent.
Tawny Kitaen...SCHWING!!!
If I remember correctly, a few roles? Tell ya what, gonna watch it again soon. It’s been a while.
"Is that a footlong?"
"And then some."
Used to love those roasts... a martini and cigarette in hand..
"'Scuse me, while I whip dis out."
Springtime for Hitler and Germany ...
“Please, baby, I am not from Havana.”
A bomb at the box office but very funny and breaks all sorts of PC taboos.
Sammy’s family was so poor, Sammy slept in a hollowed out watermelon!

OMG, it’s even “worse” than I remember... lol.
Reperations was classic Chappell but nothing beats the “black blind white supremacist” skit. I laughed so hard at that one, but when my 70yr old dad started telling me about a hilarious skit he saw on tv with a blind black white supremacist, I knew it was ledgendary.
