So I'm walking around the house singing The Animals, "House Of The Rising Sun" to myself. And I wondered what other FReepers sing to themselves...

Every time that darn Kenny Rogers commercial comes on the tube, and he’s singing the Gambler song, it stays with me for hours afterwards.

Sometimes the entire second album of the doors, sometimes the first.
Although side two of abby road is often sung, especially in the shower, better acoustics!.
Also, beach boys, supremes, and as much as I hate to admit, even bruce springsteen,. then there is grateful dead, cream, not to forget yardbirds, even the nitty gritty dirtband has an occasional appearance, lol.
That snake of the airplane (slick)had a high pitch tough to hold but one octave lower and it's doable.

“Singing in the Rain”.
But only when I’ve got me maskie on and in the mood for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

About a month ago I found myself listening to "Christmas in Capetown" on my own self-generated Pandora station.

I don't really sing songs to myself. Music sometimes just starts playing in my head. I can listen to it or ignore it.

The words I sing are:
One ton tomata, she was a one ton tomata, one ton to-ma-ta, she was a one ton to-ma-ta.
And it makes me happy.
Sorta like the Too Fat Polka.

Lately I’ve been blessed with Billy Bland’s version of “Let the little girl dance” over, and over until I’m ready for the loony bin.
