On Nov. 10, Bill Nye will release a new book titled “Unstoppable.†As only Bill Nye can, he uses the book to explain the science behind climate change, debunks popular myths, and asks readers to take action in their own lives to create a sustainable future. The book is shot through with optimism, but Nye has no illusions about what lies ahead. The message is simple: Climate change is real; humans are causing it; and we have no choice but to build a better and cleaner world.
Salon spoke with Nye about his new book and about his broader intentions. We asked him what he thought about climate deniers and the persistent anti-science demagoguery around this issue. Our conversation is below and has been edited for clarity and length.
So why did you write this book? Why now? And what’s your central message?
My goal is to change the world! Really, that’s what I’m trying to do. Obviously, this book isn’t going to change the world, but it is part of the bigger idea that we all have to think optimistically about this. We’ve got to go into this knowing we have a hard challenge but that we’re going to win this fight, and we’re going to save the earth for humanity.

I’m convinced because BIll Nye is almost as smart as Al Gore.
I know that the public at large, some of them, believe this but do the ones who preach it really believe it?

But is it man that's causing the change? That's where we deny.
Why is it that the Left that worships evolution are the very ones that don't want anything to change?

Nobody denies that climate change is real, and that it has an effect on humanity.
But humanity has little if any effect on climate change. The one single factor that has been focused on, the carbon dioxide concentration in the atmosphere, has absolutely ZERO effect on either cumulative increases of planetary temperatures, or pollution in any form.
One of the ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL constituents to the life cycle here on earth is the concentration of carbon dioxide. We are talking about parts per MILLION, nowhere near the concentration of water vapor, and certainly far less than the concentration of a very corrosive element, oxygen, which could not be maintained at its current level without continuous replenishment through the chemical and biological regeneration by photosynthesis, converting this scanty supply of carbon dioxide into the free molecular oxygen and carbohydrates, several forms of which make up a large part of our own dietary intake.
I do not get what the climate freaks think would be the “correct” climate and why over eons the climate is wrong to change. And of course why these freaks think we can do a damn thing about it. How useful they are, though, to powers that wish to control people.

When it gets cooler, people die.
When it warms up a bit, people flourish.
In fact, if it hadn't warmed up about 10,000 years ago, where I live would still be under a couple kilometer thick ice sheet.
Just think what that would do to my property values, not to mention how danged difficult it would be to drill oil wells in the Bakken...
Part of the solution to this problem or this set of problems associated with climate change is getting the deniers out of our discourse. You know, we can't have these people - they're absolutely toxic. And so part of the message in this book is to get the deniers out of the picture,

Climate Change is the Big Lie decided upon to be the cover story for the military implementation of the destruction of all nations into global totalitarian communism and the destruction of all technology except for the elite.
Nothing less than total global slavery, in our lifetimes.
Climate will indeed be changed, as we plunge into a 50 year mini ice age caused by the sun.

If you ask the climate freaks what is the idea climate temperature for da Erf you’ll find they have no answer and will not answer it. All they’ll do is spit invective you for asking such.
Maybe they really want us to be back in the deep freeze of this two million year old ice age instead of being in this warm inter-glacial we have been experiencing for the past 10,000 or so years.
Venus is the poster child for global warming. The percentage of CO2 in Venus' atomoshpere is 95.6%. Can you tell me what the percentage of CO2 in Earth's atmoshphere?
They think that I am lying when I tell them .04%. (Not 4%, .04%). The Earth atmosphere is 99.96 NOT C02.

Us dumb 'uns should base all our social, technological, and economic plans on his word.
So do I. Does this mean I'm now qualified to be a climatologist? I've need to update my resume.
