NBC is worried Jimmy Fallon's drinking may be getting out of control after The Tonight Show host injured himself for a third time in four months, sources claim.
Last week the talk show host was spotted in New York City with band aids after injuring his hand at a Harvard party. Jimmy had been 'holding a bottle of Jagermeister' and greeting fans when he tripped over a woman who had bent down in front of him, People reported. He fell and landed on the broken glass.
It's the third time the star has been hurt and sources say NBC are worried about the party-loving comedian's drinking.

Isn’t he married to a woman who almost old enough to be his mother? I bet that puts a damper on his frat boy life style.

I am going to pray for him.I'm doing likewise.
He seems a nice fellow really, and very talented... at least he is likable and not an obnoxious dick.
I saw on an old documentary that Carson was a cheap drunk who went nuts after just a couple of drinks and became rowdy and combative... not a good way to be.

He probably drinks no more than Johnny Carson did in his New York City years, Yes, things were much different 40 years ago.

If his ratings are high, they donât give a damn. Not sure where his ratings are, but I can't stand what the Tonight Show has become. Carson was the best, Leno was OK, but Jimmy isn't in the same league. His humor is very sophomoric, but it's not very funny. I know there were others before Carson, but I was in diapers or elementary school during that timeframe.

Heh. That Demato chick or whatever the singer’s name is wore a blouse on the show I was sure would ‘malfunction.’

Wow. I thought all they cared about was money and ratings both of which Fallon has given NBC. Kinda shocked they are concerned about his private life. I am seriously shocked.

I guess it depends on your definition. He was born in 1974 and she was born in 1967. I guess you can decide.

It makes me wonder about Foster Brooks on the Dean Martin roast shows. He was hysterically funny playing a drunk but you have to wonder how much of it was acting and how much real.

Match Game always seemed like a convivial cocktail party with smart, funny guests. Which Free Republic also resembles.
Gene Rayburn was a terrific host.

I think it was a tuxedo jacket and no blouse, but who was looking?

I read that once back when Brooks was so popular. He didn't drink alcohol at all.

I’ve known more than a few alcoholics, and IMHO, falling-down-drunk such that you constantly injure oneself, is the step just before the point-of-no-return, such as serious liver, heart or brain problems. There isn’t much time left to get his problem under-control

In high school we had a saying. When one of us showed up with bloodshot eyes, somebody would say, “Is that you behind those Foster Brooks?”
