Well, Week 7 is here, or as we call it in Dallas...
Week 4 of our worst nightmare!
In the Lesbo, Gay and Bi corners this week are Impy's bears, TCU Norht, Manning Heavy and big's Packer Wackers Green Bay
But life goes on and we must get on with Thursday Night Football. And as much as I want to see the Seaghag get beat every game, I don;'t think the Soapy Niners can do it--
Regular Sunday action finds the Bills taking care of business over the Jagoffs in Merry Old London Town--
The Loinchops don't get any relief as the Viqueens cut them off at the pass--
I think the Colts get back in the saddle with a win over the Ain'td--
Going to go with my Old Dallas Texans over the Stoolers--
Allegra's Texicans put get a W at the Phins--
Going out on a limb here but I think big's Pattycakes are going to get beat--
Gota go with the Ewes over Johnny Toast's Brownstains
Vick's Old Dogs run wild in Tennessee--
Gadzooks! I hate picking the Deadskins but they are playing Tamp Bay--
Okay, Seven, going with your Waiders in an upset--
Cam bounches back with a win over the Iggles--
Monday Night the Cards kick the Crab City Black Bryds right in their dark keister--
And my Boys get back to their old winning way over Manning Lite--
Now, y'all...

When the schudlers and networks were setting up the schedule, I suspect they seaw this game as a marquee matchup. May have even planned to have network coverage. Both teams are 2 and 4 and neither team is likely to make the playoffs.

Week 7... we are fast approaching the half-way point of the regular season. The Pats, Packers, Bengals, Panthers, and Broncos are all unbeaten and virtually assured of playoff spots. The Ravens and Lions, both playoff teams last year, are virtually eliminated already, with the two-time NFC champ Seahawks teetering on the brink. What a season so far. After the beating I took last week (Lions over the Bears, Steelers over the Cardinals, Panthers over the Sea-Hags etc...) I'm more convinced than ever that I don't know anything. Nevertheless, predictions as follows.
WEEK 7
Oct. 22
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers 8:25 What to make of the Seahawks? I make that as poorly as they've played, they're still better than the inconsistent Niners. They will start to right the ship Carroll this week. Seahawks.
Oct. 25
Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars (London) 9:30 AM The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot (first time in I-don't-know-how-long) and the Jags give them a great chance to make some headway in that regards. Yes they're beat up but still have enough to handle the lowly Jaguars. Bills.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions 1 Lions showed something last week in getting their first win. Will they show some consistency? Who the hell knows..... But they are at home so... Lions.
New Orleans Saints at Indianapolis Colts 1 Brees played like the Brees of old against the previously unbeaten Falcons last week. But at Indy, with the Colts coming off a near win against the Pats? Nah. Who dat? Colts!
Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs 1 Who will play at QB for the Steelers? Landry Jones? Chiefs haven't exactly set the league on fire but against a QB-less Pitt team, in KC? Chiefs.
Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins 1 Phish won under their new coach last week against the Titans. But for some foolish or sentimental reason I like the Texans here. Texans.
New York Jets at New England Patriots 1 Jets have only one loss, but this is a gut-check against the Pats in Foxboro. I like the Patriots. Patriots.
Cleveland Browns at St. Louis Rams 1 Browns tested the Broncos last week, but even with three Manning picks still couldn't close the deal. They won't this week either. Rams.
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans 1 Falcons get back on track against the hapless Tennesseans. Falcons.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins 1 Bucs - Redskins. Won't set the DVR for this one! The Redskins have shown some spirit though, and a five-hundred record in the NFC East could mean winning the division, and as bad as the Deadskins are, they're in the hunt. Redskins.
Oakland Raiders at San Diego Chargers 4:05 Last week Philip Rivers threw for five hundred yards against the Packers. I don't think the Raiders have enough to keep up with that kind of O. Chargers.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants 4:25 Until Romo comes back the 'Boys are going to limp along, keeping things close but not winning. Giants.
Philadelphia Eagles at Carolina Panthers 8:30 Are the Eagles coming together as a team? Maybe. But the Panthers definitely are. Panthers.
Oct. 26
Baltimore Ravens at Arizona Cardinals 8:30 I don't know what's wrong with the Ravens. They keep things close every week, but seem to always fall short. Now they get to go to Arizona and play a Cardinals team smarting from losing to the Steelers. Not a good situation for the Nevermores... Cardinals.
